Mindful gray cabinets need a counter top

I’m helping a friend with this project - need suggestions/inputs on which granite counter top will go with mindful gray ( sherwin Williams) shaker cabinets. The backsplash will be white subway tiles.

Take a look at Salinas White granite. It has flecks of a beige grey similar to the cabinet color. Also, Fantasy Brown might look nice. It is not technically a granite, but a hard marble. Good luck!

I was going to suggest Fantasy Brown quartzite (er, marble) as well. There are so many variations, the lighter-tone FBQ would look great with that combo.

I think white would be a nice contrast. I've attached a link to a GW member's (kellienoelle) kitchen that used Delicatus granite & a classic white backsplash. What kind of look do they want? Veined - particulate - whites - grays - dark - light... that is a neutral color and so many things could go with it.... Does it need to be granite? What about quartz? Look at Cambria Berwyn for a light color... What is their budget like? Azul Platino is an inexpensive pretty granite....
