Comments (5)I have done some research and I have talked with the people at the New York Cooperative Extension and found that it is Early Blight that has taken my tomatoes. I have sprayed with a fungicide but the rain keeps coming and I think the plants are not going to make it. Very sad as they are my favorite and usually my best crop....See MoreSpoon Jade leaves drying up and falling
Comments (6)Old leaves will be absorbed for moisture as required for the plant. When dried out they will look crunchy/crystalline. It's normal. Should take several weeks for the Crassula to recover after repotting, since the fine roots would have been destroyed (and do the bulk of water absorption). If you start losing too many leaves too quickly before the roots re-establish, you should temporarily move the plant into a cooler place or one that receives less sun (to reduce plant water demands)....See MoreWhy are my rose stems drying and leaves falling
Comments (7)Vermicompost could be too rich. If they were mine, I'd get perlite, and lighten the soil 50% 50%. If I could find some tree bark, or even broken up twigs I'd go 30-30-30 and add some "peanuts" which are styrofoam packing materials. I'd remove the roses from the pots one at a time, very gently and soak them in water with an aspirin dissolved. Then I'd sniff (yes, smell) the soil that's in the pot. It SHOULD smell 'fresh' and definitely not smell bad -sulphurous- stangnant water-like. If the soil smells bad, it should probably be put out to dry thoroughly in the sun and then used as a fertilizer rather than as a soil....See MoreSucculent leaves are falling off!
Comments (8)There was a discussion on that same topic some time ago. It happens!!! I had the same problem too, all leaves fell off all of a sudden, they all look good, firm, no dry, no rot. None were able to reroot. The stem and roots looked fine as well. Some tiny bug, fungus or other challenging to detect microbes??? I have another one as well as a black knight going strong under the same conditions. The one that's now gone was growing next to them... The same also happened to Pachysedum Ganhzou, twice, 2 years in a row, both times after a few cold winter days... in San Jose!!! Not sure why but anyhow, the latter is now planta non grata in my backyard!...See Moresarahftaveira
