Seasoned green beans for a crowd

Hi folks, we've been invited to a "second Thanksgiving" on Saturday and asked to bring green beans - probably around 30 people or so, rented room with a kitchen, about 1-11/2 hrs. away. I'm thinking the best way to prepare them would be a simple marinade with olive oil, vinegar, S&P and an herb or 2. That way they would tasted good at room temp. I recently bought pomegranate vinegar from TJ's - do you think that would be a good choice? How would you season them? (We don't like rosemary, and can't use nuts do to allergies.) Don't want the flavors to compete with the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Sometimes the simple things can be harder if you know what I mean; don't want them to be either too bland or too bold. Thought if I asked here they would be sure to taste good, and I could bring them with confidence, thanks!
