Those NutriSystem commercials are killing me!
Comments (17)Oh, I agree. Every time you change channels you have to adjust the sound. When I watch "The Young and the Restless almost everyone mumbles or talks very low and then the commercials BLAST you out of your chair. I like to tape some shows so I can FF through the commercials. The NutriSystem peopole all look great too after loosing weight, especially Marie, but that food they show does not look appealing to me. Has anyone ever tried it? Billy Mayes has the worst voice. It's too high pitched, not to mention loud. The one for denture Sea bond stuff makes me ill when that man grimaces and I have to change the channel before I see him. Here is a link that might be useful: Sea Bond...See MoreWow! What an awesome commercial by WestJet!
Comments (10)It is so rare these days for companies to do anything but the bare minimum for their customers. To see a company doing something so fantastic for their customers is great. No one knows what financial shape some of these people may be in, just because they happen to be flying does not mean they are wealthy, their prices are very competitive. Several of them were students that wished for a plane ticket home for the holidays. How wonderful for them. This kind of treatment for their customers should bring happy customers and return customers. That is what it is all about after all, keeping your customers satisfied! I don't understand how anyone could find fault with a company saying thank you to their customers and rewarding them for picking their company. Their customers are not the only ones they share their generosity with. Just because someone has not bothered to find out about their gracious programs does not mean they are not doing other fantastic things!!! "At WestJet, we've always been about people and our investment in the community is no exception". WestJet and Hope Air bring Canadians closer to medical care. WestJet helps in Haiti WestJet is providing the gift of flight in support of travel wish granting activities nationwide for Make-A-Wish there are LOTS more but I am sure to some that is all just another publicity stunt!...See MoreToo many Christmas commercials
Comments (17)in defense of early decorators...we have done stuff with an early snow on the ground and dh about froze and ended up with a cold...and I took advantage on the first gift of many, with a sale and coupon...same thing this Saturday at sam's club...getting a very nice discount for one dil's new pans she wants... lol..but you can't beat hallmark's 60 holiday movies....when bored, flip one on......See MoreWhat do you listen to in your car?
Comments (55)Usually I switch between the public radio station and a local mostly "news" station which is unfortunately becoming more talk than news and info. But lately it's just too much political rhetoric that I wind up changing stations and when they're both polluted it goes off. There's a CD player in there but I don't use it. I usually have things on my mind and wind up making notes (on my digital recorder) so I don't forget. Only about a month until the election is over but then it's going to be too much holiday stuff on there. So, probably not listening to much. Have to rely on conversation when someone is with me. That can sometimes be tricky... :)...See Morehhireno
