MsWorks Calendar Problem Mssg
Comments (4)I didn't know of that update. Downloaded it but it doesn't install. ???!!! My original was 8.0 already on the machine. I had previusly updated that to 8.5. Uninstalled that. Got a new disk with 8.5 and installed that. Perhaps it doesn't need that update (KB9338288). ================================================== AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Got it!!!!! I finally realized the uninstall process was not removing the Calendar file with my input info. Also that the new install must have been picking it up. I finally found it and deleted it separately. Perhaps renaming it would have also worked. Then did a complete new install off the CD. All the SS and DS files function properly as well. That file is Mswkscal.wcd located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Works I just tried it out and the wkcalrem item is back in the System Config Utility =============================== My event viewer shows this all started on April 13. Only 6 days to figure it out. Not too bad. :-)...See MoreMake a Family Calendar - SUPER gift for grandfolks

Comments (24)Actually I use a wipe off calendar and it works well for me. Appts, etc are kept in my electronic gadget PDA? and before I was given this thing I had a paper calendar book that I carried in my purse. The wipe on/off calendar is so the family knows what's going on on any given day. My calendar board actually has 7 lines and I simply roll the months. As one week finishs I wipe and put the next week from the bottom in it's place - does that make sense? I had those plastic rubber things - like the decorations for windows, with the calendar month names that I would stick at the beginning of the month. If my DH or DDs/DS has something going on they add it to the board and then I add it to my PDA. That way I know what's going on with everyone. But it's an added visual each morning on what's going on for the day. I've been doing this since forever. I use a small one now but when the kids were little it was quite large - so the kids had space to write. A paper calendar never had enough room. But we also listed chores etc on the calendar. Oh and everything was color coded, each one of us was a different color....See MoreScrapper 'Baby's First Year' Calendar
Comments (2)I have a Winnie the Pooh "Baby's First Year" calendar that sounds like what you are trying to put together, only mine didn't have the scrapbook side to it. I loved this calendar and it was my baby "bible" for the first year. I often refer to it when my friends/family ask me " . . .when did she . . ." I have an easy reference. Anyhow, at the top of each monthly page it has the following: height, weight, baby's sleeping pattern, baby's eating pattern, and notes with spaces to write in a sentence or two about baby's advances that month. Also included were stickers: first bath first smile religious ceremony sleeps through night first tooth first word says mama says dada first solid food feeds self first Christmas doctor's visit (several of these) It would be cute if you could include some stickers that illustrated these events that she could stick on the days on which they occurred (doctor's bag or stethescope-doctor's visit, spoon or bowl-first solid food, smiley face-first smile, etc.) Sounds like a cute and very thoughtful gift! Let us know how it turns out!...See Moregardener123
