Polished Nickel

I am getting polished nickel faucets and knobs for my master bathroom. What finish should my chandelier be? I don't know what will look good. The options I have are bronze/dark, pewter/silver, white, chrome, nickel/gold, copper, brushed nickel, light brown, gold, black, or glass/clear. Please help! If you have pictures that would really help me visualize this.

What's the color scheme of the master bathriin? That'll help, but don't be afraid to mix metals! I personally like it a lot, so long as it's pretty subtle :)

I have concrete floors that are going to be stained gray. I want my walls to be a soft white and my cabinets will be white too. Is it okay to paint the walls and cabinets the same color? I actually found a chandelier that’s polished nickel. My countertops are going to be quartz and I want it to be grey/white.

bumping this up. Anyone out there who's actually done what I'm proposing? My California migrated lighting designer-who's helped me immensely on many kitchen design issues, is a bit more of a purist on finishes. My notes of our early discussion show he suggested hardware in satin or stainless steel for their sheen but not brushed nickel which is more matte. Antique nickel, brass, antique (aged) bronze etc was also high, polished nickel not so much. Also, I recently saw a "what's new in 2013 kitchens" and it said popular hardware are satin, orb, some brass, but not seeing as much polished. If you know of a "bright" satin cabinet hardware maker, please do share. A lot might depend on the base metal in the collection. :/ Thanks again.

The idea that all metal finishes in your house need to match is extremely dated and when it’s done tends to look a little pedestrian. You don’t pick one fabric and insist it be used everywhere, same with flooring and wall colors. A good rule of thumb is if you can touch the two at the same time then maybe they should be the same, but if you can’t then they don’t have to be. And of course, there are exceptions to every rule except the rule that there are no absolute rules in decorating.

What is Function Best , as some Blacks & so Called Bronze are Actually Baked on Power Coats at Best and NOT a Black Chrome of True Bronze , so Dam Old Chrome & Satin Nickle Hold Up Super Long . . that said Life time Fixture like Moen's are Better . . as Keep Parts for Life Time Literately a Life Time !

I think it's perfectly fine, but maybe consider different finishes (i.e. eggshell, satin, semi-gloss). I think for your chandelier you should do bronze/dark for a pop of color.
