I wouldn't use glass in a kitchen that was ever used. Virtually irreparable.

It's in quite a few kitchens in very high end new condos in Manhattan. IN the listings they talk about Lazza glass as a status feature, like Wolf and sub Zero appliances. Maybe the owners don't cook! But I am looking to use it in a bathroom.

I looked at glass countertops when I was redoing my very small Master bath, 2 of the local glass companies did countertops. I ended up not doing glass because of the price, but look and see what the local glass companies have to offer.

Ive installed millions of dollars of textured glass formed in my ovens, as well as regular window glass (backpainted), and White Glass/Nanoglass. You disparagingly commented upon White Glass/Nanoglass which in my 25 years of fabricating experience, is THE HARDEST MATERIAL WE HAVE EVER FABRICATED...and whose RARE chips can be repaired using common Akemi or equal and color matching techniques.
Our 50hp Waterjets and 20hp CNC saws must be slowed down to a crawl to get an acceptable cut quality...before sending on to our polishing station. To give you an idea, typically, we take 3x as long to cut WhiteGlass vs Abs. Black Granite.

Regular window Glass chips can be repaired using Hextal epoxy (which is ultra clear) and does not yellow.

Im not suggesting that a shattered piece is worthy is saving....merely chips.
Window glass is much more prone to chipping bc the 45 bevel typically offered still leaves 4 sharp edges.
This is why we manually roundover edges on all surfaces we offer...so much better at dissipating energetic strikes from bottles, etc. and preventing chips in the first place.

If you want to make a living repairing seams...that is fine...I do not.

Reason: That piece...or any piece, once fractured, is a liability...and...you can still see the fracture...in your pics and every other one Ive attempted. That material couldve been replaced for about the same as repaired. I would have advised rip and replace for safety reasons alone. You do not.

As for repairs, I do not take close ups of my repairs, because there are so few in White Glass.

I have white glass countertops and they cannot be beat! No more granite for me! They are stronger than anything else, don’t stain, and they are pure white. Super easy to clean and maintain, no sealing, etc.

As long as this thread was brought up, I'd like to report that I ended up using white glass in a second bathroom and I'm very happy with how it looks and how it is holding up. I bought the slab from Artistic Tile in Manhattan; they ship.
