This is a living room? Does the pool table stay? If not, I'd suggest pulling the chairs 5 or 6 feet forward away from the wall and closer together at the edge of a nice rug. They would form part of a seating arrangement suitable for conversation. As they are in the corners of the room, they serve more as decoration than useful places for people to sit (unless someone is waiting their turn to shoot pool, I guess). As decoration, they're too small to balance the size of the console table and mirror. I don't see anything wrong with the size of the mirror itself if the end of the room had objects of height and prominence on either side of it. If you pull the chairs forward, you can now decorate both sides of the table along the wall with something that has height and weight. Think nice bookcases, lamps, floor-standing sculptures, or things like that. Don't feel obligated to create matching bookends of large items on either side of the table, but the objects should complement each other in size, weight and "presence."

Hi Again...so the measurements are not adding up for me. I have been looking at sconces to go with mirrors that are large (~30" wide), and on the 48" vanity, that only leaves me with 9" for each side of the mirror. The smallest sconces are 4-6", and even that leaves me with just 3-5" of space, to divide between the shower glass on the left side of the vanity and the left edge of the mirror; same on the other side of the mirror and the wall edge on the right. Certainly 1-2" from the edge of the wall and almost up against the mirror wont look right. How much space do I need to leave for sconces and spacing on the 48" vanity wall? BUT if I must go to a smaller mirror for the 48" vanity, and I try to use the same mirror on the right vanity, it looks dwarfed. Also, the small sconces that I could accommodate on the 48" vanity look dinky on the 65" vanity wall. The taped pictures above are mirrors 40" tall x 30" wide, so to really give me width for sconces the mirror height will also have to be smaller, or they will look really long and skinny, which makes the 65" wall with that mirror even more funny looking. I feel like this will make or break the whole look and I honestly don't see good options. The only option I see is a LOT smaller mirrors than I wanted which will also look funny to my eye. I think you could put something larger-format and more of a statement at the top of the stairs and do something more lower profile down the hall. As long as they have the same "feeling," it's okay for them to be different sizes and shapes. This may also help disguise that they're offset, which you as the homeowner will be more conscious of than anyone else who enters your home. For example, if you wanted to add a crystal chandelier at the top of the stairs, add a flush-mount version down the hall. Many fixtures these days come in both flush mount and semi-flush formats, too, so you might be able to match the same design that way.

Thank you so much for your help! We actually do need the tower for storage as the bathroom is not very big at all. It currently has a bulky built in linen closet on the left hand side of the vanity and the current vanity is even smaller (60") that my husband and I have shared for 10 years. So while I'd LOVE more counter space, even the extra 9" we are gaining feels like a lot for us. We put the tower on the right because it is next to the wall when you walk in the door which keeps it from being in the middle of the room breaking it up. It helps that the top part of the tower sets back on top about 6" from the facing of the lower cabinets to make it feel less intrusive. I am concerned that a 3-light fixture may make it feel more congested, but I just don't know as it seems there would be room for it.. Is more light better or would a 2-light be better for scale? I do love symmetry, and you have no idea how much it pains me to not have a perfectly symmetrical vanity.. But it really is the best option for the space due to how tight the bathroom is as a whole. The tub is directly in front of the vanity (about 4.5' walking space) which also sits in front of a window providing a lot of natural light in the room.
