Amanda, with the tall cabinet being on the right makes everything look congested, IMO you have plenty of wall space and you have plenty of space for storage under the counter as well if you use a larger drawer cabinet this way if you can get away without using that upper cabinet you can do a different layout and end up with a more spacious layout.

I would probably lay this out like this, so there is enough room for 2 people to comfortably use the space, especially for a lady, with the makeup, curling irons, and blowdryers, etc (based on what my wife has it when getting ready before going out lol) you definitely need more counter space.

Thank you so much for your help! We actually do need the tower for storage as the bathroom is not very big at all. It currently has a bulky built in linen closet on the left hand side of the vanity and the current vanity is even smaller (60") that my husband and I have shared for 10 years. So while I'd LOVE more counter space, even the extra 9" we are gaining feels like a lot for us. We put the tower on the right because it is next to the wall when you walk in the door which keeps it from being in the middle of the room breaking it up. It helps that the top part of the tower sets back on top about 6" from the facing of the lower cabinets to make it feel less intrusive. I am concerned that a 3-light fixture may make it feel more congested, but I just don't know as it seems there would be room for it.. Is more light better or would a 2-light be better for scale?

I do love symmetry, and you have no idea how much it pains me to not have a perfectly symmetrical vanity.. But it really is the best option for the space due to how tight the bathroom is as a whole. The tub is directly in front of the vanity (about 4.5' walking space) which also sits in front of a window providing a lot of natural light in the room.

Your light fixture is pretty. Notice the back of it is smaller than what's drawn. That will help it look less crowded. The glass shades will too. Your mirror size is in the specs. You have about 42" minus a few for faucets and at the top. Take a tape measure measure the distance you have between the wall faucets and the bottom of your fixture, with a couple inches of space on each end. There are pretty standard mirror sizes. The suggestion for lights coming out of mirrors is really pretty, especially since it's sconces and that puts the light close to your face rather than above. They seem elegant, but I've never had one.

I would not give up my 24" deep floor to ceiling cabinet for anything. I agree with others about the symmetry. Is the far left sink at the end of the wall? It might look better in the middle. Is the tall cabinet on the front entry wall or the back of the room?

Thanks, you all! Keep all the suggestions coming! I truly appreciate you taking the time to help. Peke, the left side of the sink is not next to a wall actually. The toilet is on the other side where the vanity ends. We did consider putting it in the middle, but moved it only because it seemed to feel like it cut the narrow room in half. But then again, I can’t envision these types of things until it’s already done! That’s where you guys really help :)

Amanda can you scribble on a piece of paper a plan of your bathroom with all dimensions and post a picture so it can show exactly what you have there?.

The original layout you show is 88" and you saying the existing vanity is 60" with a toilet on one side and bulky linen closet on the other... There must a min clearance from the vanity to the toilet

so assuming there is no room to gain on the toilet side and with the closet being on the other side where did the extra 18" came from for the new layout? Did you take the linen closet out?

The plan with all of the dimensions of the entire bathroom would definitely help because there are no more suggestions left, you can only do so much with the space you have unless you take the linen closet out to gain more wall space and have more options as vanity configuration goes.

It is difficult without a floor plan. This picture shows a center cabinet between two sinks. I don't know if you want to save money or not, but the way this countertop is, there is a lot of countertop hidden under the cabinet. It could be built as two separate countertops which I estimate to be 34-36" wide. You could save money by finding remnant stone slabs for the countertops. My local yard has quartz, marble, quartzite, and granite remnants for $25-$40 per s.f. We live in a very rural area, so I was surprised what they had.
