He cracks me up!
Comments (8)Love it! Twisted expressions make me laugh hard. I may have shared this before, but I once worked for a boss who gave me such treasures as: We need to throw more wrenches on the fire!; That's the gem in the haystack!; There's the flaw in the ointment!; and my all-time favorite... when I was prepping him for an upcoming business meeting and another co-worker asked to meet with him "I can't do it today. I'm going upstairs with Michelle now, and I'm literally going to be tied up all afternoon!" Of course there are differences among combining similar phrases, substituting a similar (albeit, hilariously inappropriate) word, and just not understanding a word altogether. (Inconceivable!) But these things are my favorite types of humor....See MoreSidewalk mosses crack me up.
Comments (4)Hello deep woods, I am a new moss enthusiast and would like to pick your expertise. I am mid-way between Baltimore, Md and Harrisburg, Pa. Have brought in a 7 PH orchard soil and set flagstones into a sunny patio. Which moss, lichen or other would give a good look and hold up to light foot traffic between the stones? I can supplement dry periods with watering. I purchased a couple books and attend lectures when available. Recommendations welcomed....See MoreThis just cracks me up
Comments (11)I can visualize what you are talking about, sounds like me trying to park. In May we were in old San Juan, Puerto Rico and you would not believe the parking. The streets were two lane and one lane was parked cars, about 6 inches apart. Someone would pull out and here was someone else ready to park and they did a great job. Many times we thought that the vehicle would not fit in the spot and they didn't zig zag in and out, about two moves and they were in there. I kept wandering what would happen if our taxi met another car, who would have to back out, but it didn't happen. I guess they have their system and like in Mexico the horn is supreme, there was alot of honking going on!...See MoreCommercials that crack you up....
Comments (62)Glad this thread is still alive. I was reminded of another favorite from about 3 years back - the Honda commercial that reprised Ferris Beuller's Day Off. I could watch that one over and over. Had fun just trying to find all the movie connections. I read today Honda will have another spot this year after being absent last year and it's supposed to be funny and involve sheep and Queen's 'Somebody to Love'....See More- 8 years ago
