I'm sorry you missed out on Halloween fun. I am sorting through a PODS storage unit. My least favorite activity in the world. My children want me to keep a sofa for sentimental reasons. That seems a bit crazy to me- except that I totally understand why they want it and I am really trying to make that work. Weird, I know.

I went with two of my daughter's today. I only got some groceries at Aldi. I may go again tomorrow with them. It has been cloudy and cool here today again.

It was 52 degrees in the house when we got up this morning. Brrrrrr. The furnace did not come on. I purchased a new thermocoupling before DH figured out it was just a loose wire, got knocked loose when he vacuumed dust out of the furnace.

Also purchased cat litter attractant. Trying to keep the cat from having accidents.

Stopped @ the grocery store for lettuce....then found brownies. :0)

I went back to work after having a week off. We had an evacuation drill that went well with 90 special needs kids. My mom and step dad are suppose to be coming over to pick up some boxes to take to Florida. They want everything to fit in their trunk, and I'm not sure everything will. It doesn't look like I will make it to the gym since I am waiting on them to show up.

I like how normal our lives are. I enjoy hearing about your shopping, families, cleaning, and adventures. Kathy, will your son be home until he enters the air force? Will your daughter be with you for awhile? I have 3 daughters and love getting togtehr with them. Not always easy with their work and mommy obligations. I try to help them.

Today DH and I went to some tile stores in the area. He would have preferred not, but he had nothing else planned. Does it make me a bad wife if it makes me nervous if he sits the day away? We are shopping for tile for the kitchen backsplash and tile for remodeling the master bath at the riverhouse. DH is the installer. We brought home samples for backsplash and have some serious contenders. We found tile we liked for shower and floor in bathroom. The new bathroom is long overdue like years. We have had a difficult time finding something we both liked. Not unusual for us. DH will measure bathroom and Monday we will order the tile. Our bedroom will get a major refresh also. All has to done by summer, 2018. Wishing you all a restful night.

Happy2B, yes my son will be here till he leaves. My daughter will be here a couple months before she goes back to California. She spent part of the day applying for a seasonal job. MamopinkyO, I have no clue...

You have no clue who was slamming doors while you were trying to sleep with a pounding head in your house?

Kath, I keep having this nagging feeling about you and your headaches. It's absolutely none of my business but I feel worried for you--hoping your bp is under control.

Terry, I think I read MamopinkyO's question wrong. lol. I thought she said WHY do kids slam doors. The noise level in my house is awful since I took out the carpeting. Even the dogs nails on the laminate flooring is so loud. I slept last night with my noise machine on for the first time in a year or more.

Sjerin, I was worried too but my bp has been on the low side. My heart rate was up but bp was not. My doctor had me monitoring it a couple weeks ago. I bought a cuff and will take it from time to time.

Headache went away when I took a Tylenol before I went to work.
