Before and After Pics Master Bedroom
Comments (16)Great job! For some reason, I think another framed picture over the bed would be good, or even something round but in a similiar size in the center. And how about a nice green plant on your dresser (artificial probably best) to add height, instead of blue candle. Could you get another little bench and put the two at the foot of the bed? Not sure about a rug on top of carpet - why bother? There are so many other things to spend money on. I would instead add more rattan like your blinds and lampshades. Wishing your husband restfulness and tranquility during his illness. Good luck!...See MoreBedroom chair: before and after
Comments (44)My standing joke is that I've never lived with a guy, as defined above where guy=leaving things dropped or placed in wrong spots all over the house. I married a man who is neat as a pin which is a mixed blessing for someone who is also neat as a pin, because our children grew up in a bizarrely tidy and organized home. Have never seen him even leave a sock out, much less all the stuff in these pictures :). Actually it made the shock that much greater when I gave birth to a darling male child who grew into a guy! My daughter still laughs about how I always, every-single-time, made him pick up the shoes he tried to leave next to the back door and take them into his room-and where he got that idea I cannot fathom since he NEVER saw any one else do it. He lives with his fiancée now who says he is indeed a clothes dropper. She told me he can open the front door in full uniform (he's a law enforcement officer with the NPS) and in less than 30 seconds be in the kitchen which is ~ 30 feet away wearing only his boxers LOL....See MoreAnyone awake? Comments (22)Here it is! The first 2 pictures were taken with my cell phone. It does not look this green in person, but it definitely has an olive cast. The last 3 were taken with my camera, and looks more like it. I think it's OK . -- Looks nice against the white -- I think it will look good if I accessorize with some gold. Hopefully it'll come together after the furniture goes in....See MoreLiving Room design help!
Comments (12)@tqtqtbw unfortunately it is not an ottoman, it is the chaise part of the couch. As mentioned before, we will be upgrading the couch as I don't like the way it fits in the room. I like your idea about storage/seating under the TV! I already have plans for a storage bench or ottoman there. @Lion Windows and Doors, hopefully my plans with the new lighting will help with bouncing light, the new lamp has a glass base (similar to your lucite idea) and I felt the floor lamp took up visual space while still feeling light. The coffee table has thin, curved legs that I hope takes away from the heavy-ness of the marble top....See Moreartemis_ma
