Unstuffed cabbage rolls. They were delish!

Cabbage soup and a grilled cheese sandwich with a dill pickle.

Dh is away today, so I was on my own to fix what strikes my fancy. So I made myself an omelet sandwich. One of my childhood comfort foods. Just one egg scrambled a little in a 6 inch fry pan. Topped it with a little cheddar cheese to melt, a dab of catsup, put it on a thin sandwich bun! Deliciou! Ate some grapes and a dill pickle too.

It is cold here in SD today. The wind is blowing and it is lightly snowing. Cheerios for breakfast and tomato soup and crackers for lunch.

I had to leave my house before 5:30 am to drive to Yale Medical in New Haven CT. So breakfast was on the road: three hard boiled eggs (one duck, one chicken, one guinea hen). After being poked and prodded a bit and not getting back to my neck of the woods until about 12:30 pm, I decided, heck with it, and stopped off for lunch at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries: double cheeseburger with pickles, onions and mustard, on a lettuce wrap.

I get to go back NEXT Monday for more of the same. The Medical facility, not the burger joint. Sigh.

I had leftovers from yesterday. Homemade meatball soup and garlic bread.

Spicy sauce over white rice & a roll w/ butter.

Don't know what I'll have for lunch, but I am looking forward to making chicken soup this evening for tomorrow's lunch with our sudden spate of grey days.

We just ate lunch, we had 70 mph winds last night so breakfast was about nine thirty. Had pounded and breaded chicken with home made sauce and cheese on Italian bread. Soo good.

Little Caesars pepperoni pizza.

I rarely eat lunch, have a big breakfast, and then tea with a pastry or such around 1:30p-2pm. I eat a light supper.

Marilyn_Sue, I often make Swedish meatballs and everyone loves them. So I get requests for these any time there is a family gathering, etc. I usually like to eat them with noodles too.

I was at my volunteer job today at lunchtime and my lunch was an apple, whole almonds and a carrot. I ate more mid afternoon when I got home.

I met my dearest in town for lunch at a Viet Namese restaurant. I had a big bowl of pho and he ordered a beef and mixed vegetable skillet meal. Both very delicious.

Lunched with friend at Whistle Stop Cafe/Irondale Cafe. We watched the trains go by as we ate. Fun!

I had a chicken sandwich with some mayo - and I am desperately trying not to have a snack right now- should not have opened this thread! Maybe just an apple would be alright though ...

I didn't have lunch. I had a hamburger that I fixed myself for a late breakfast and the woman who is helping us build fence, brought me a couple of pieces of her birthday cake....so I had a piece of cake later. Fried oysters for supper....my all time favorite food in the whole world!

Half a pastrami sandwich on grilled sour dough and a cup of Tuscany soup. The soup was yummy - going to look for recipes online and try making it at home.
