For CEFreeman: Lunch time!
Comments (27)My cookies never turn out either. I do everything right and yet they don't really taste that good. I don't think store bought ones do either with some of them being truly awful. They seem tasteless or are greasy to the point of being gross. I like crispy cookies not cake like cookies best. I think it's because ingredients have changed. Flour isn't really the flour we grew up with anymore and who knows what else. Nothing seems to taste the same as back in the day. I get discouraged spending time making things using up a week's calories and not even really enjoying it that muchâ¦boo hoo I will try that recipe you posted lc. Linelle, your kitty is so adorable. It looks like he/she is concentrating on how to get one of those cookies back to a safe place!...See MoreIs it lunch time yet?
Comments (8)I forgot to bring anything to work with me today for lunch and naturally, I was starving just because my mind was reminding me that I didn't have anything. It's so darned hot here today and traffic is so bad, that I just wasn't otivated to go out. So, I looked in the freezer here at work and found a single serving Red Baron deep dish pepperoni pizza that I stuck in the microwave. Not what I wanted but it was better than going out in 95 degree weather. Plus...I still have money in my pocket...lol!!!...See MoreWife cheated on me three times what to do now
Comments (2)Well, she has shown you over and over again who she really is. She can not be trusted to not cheat on you. I would not want to be married to someone I could not trust. Forgive one time, yes, ok. But many times she has cheated on you. You have gone to counseling and it did not work. It is time to end the marriage and move on. Do not stay together for the children. Don't make them the scapegoat for doing nothing. End your misery (and the children's too I'm sure), get a divorce and start anew. NancyLouise...See MoreOff topic, Cape Cod lunch suggestions
Comments (11)Let us know where you decide to go. If you go all the way to Ptown, be sure to go to the Visitors Center and walk up on the catwalk for the view. You should be okay traffic-wise. The following weekend, Memorial Day, is tough, and then once kids are out of school and the summer really gets going it can be tough going, but you'll be fine next weekend. Also check out Fort Hill in Eastham, also for the view. Signs for it are on Rt. 6 and are brown in color. It's on the North side of 6. If it's a nice day and you want to get your feet in some sand, try to find a parking spot in the little parking area at Coast Guard Beach (also near Fort Hill). Beautiful beach and surf. (In the summer which is Memorial Day through Labor Day, you have to park at the Visitors Center and take a bus to Coast Guard Beach). Another beautiful view is from Long Nook Beach in Truro. Also north side of 6, look for Long Nook Rd. and take it all the way to the end. Gorgeous, and you may well see some whales migrating in the distance. Might want to call the restaurant you choose to see if they take reservations. If they do, make one! Barnstable is 45 minutes from Ptown, so you'll have plenty of time to explore the Cape, at least Rt. 6. The Falmouth Area makes it somewhat more awkward....See More- 8 years ago
