Does a triflow kitchen faucet approved for RO water exist?
Comments (2)Jenny: so sorry I didn't see that you asked me a follow up question in your previous thread. Yes the franke, and probably most others, use their own filtration system for their tri flows. It is easy to connect to an ro system tho. Is it "approved"? I doubt it because they want to sell you on their very expensive ssystems. As far as the ro being aggressive, although this is true I don't think you will have any problems. The newer franke tri flows have a flexible braided connection rather than the older ones which employed semi rigid copper. The metal tubing is what was the concern about being "eaten away" by the ro. Even in those cases with metal tubing I had some clients with this setup that I had not heard of any issues over many years. If you are not comfy using one of these faucets then you could always get a dedicated ro faucet. I can tell you tho thru real life experiences, not text book theories, that you likely will not have issues with a tri flow. Will it last forever? Nope. Nothing does. But forever is a very long time. Please don't stress too much over this. You won't really go wrong with whatever you choose....See MoreCushion matting overlay - does it exist
Comments (0)Hi all - newbie here I'm in the UK but inadvertently posted this message in the US forum: silly me! I need a sort of matting that I can cut up to overlay certain areas of my pond where heavy objects (boulders, pond edgings) will be located. It's really important that: (1) it doesn't "wick" (2) It's a cushiony-type material so it squashes down to absorb the heavy weight (3) It's preferably waterproof (4) Black in colour (5) Can be cut to size (6) UV protected I was thinking of that black carpet underlay stuff but am worried it might poison the pondlife! Very grateful for your thoughts, suggestions. Thanks!!...See MoreDoes your Christmas decor match your existing color scheme......
Comments (47)Isn’t Christmas stressful enough? Now we have to worry about weather or not our Christmas tree matches our year round home decor? Let’s get rid of all our tree ornaments we collected and invested in over the years and run out to buy new to match the decor in our homes. I’ll decorate my tree with the same ornaments I use year after year and receive so many compliments on it even if it doesn’t match my year round interior decor. I donate to charities throughout the year. I think this year I’ll choose a family who can’t afford a tree and take them to pick out a tree and ornaments. I don’t think there going to question weather the ornaments and kind of tree they choose are going to match there decor. I’m pretty sure they will be happier to be able to gather their family around the Christmas tree this year. I doubt they will look at each other and discuss weather the tree matches the decor. They will be so happy just to have a tree they decorated together....See MoreFlooring with existing oak kitchen and trim. Does this work?
Comments (18)You have harmonious flooring, trim, and cabinets that have a golden warmth. You run the risk of visual "remudding" by breaking up the visual harmony. If you want to update, use your decor to do so--lots cheaper and it will look so much better without the hassle and expense of new flooring that doesn't work with your trim and cabinets. Spend some $$$ on two large paintings, one over the sofa but most especially on the clock wall--sorry big clocks are pretty dated--in subject and style you like. That will make you forget about what looks orangey to you and more warm and golden to others. Give your eyes other, more interesting things to look at. Pillows that could echo the gold tones: New coffee table and side tables would be an updated upgrade that would echo your current wood trim and floors:...See MoreRelated Professionals
