Comments (29)I took a few pics when I went outside to fertilize my peppers... All Winter, my Wandering Jew was blooming. But by early Spring, is was also getting long and crispy, so I cut off all the healthy tips and then re-potted them with the roots of the mother plant (this plant has been propagated by my brother and sister and all of our friends, and if anyone loses theirs we share more cuttings). I down-sized, as well, so that this plant would be easier to manage. I keep a smaller specimen now, rather than a massive planting. Comments (14)Dana, I would rinse that off, wash the jar and put it back with fresh water. If the fuzz is attached to the roots and not something that comes off under a gentle rinse (not too hot, not too cold), don't worry about it. Great idea to use the binder clip! The hollow channel is perfect for holding a thin stem in place (as long as it doesn't get crushed, which I'm sure you purposely avoided doing.)...See MoreWandering Jew and Frostbite
Comments (5)I wouldn't fertilize it, I don't fertilize any of my house plants in the winter. You can always take pieces of the WJ that seems healthy enough after you trim it and put them back into the pot if it needs filling in after you trim all the dead sections. Have a wonder weekend.......See MoreSouthern Virginia
