8 years agoEveryone has such sweet dogs! We have a few that have passed on as well. We miss them every day.
Here is Beavis the husky at 19 years. This was taken just 4 months prior to his passing after two days of terrible seizures. He was suspected of having a brain tumor.
A better shot of Casper on the same trip to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. This rock was the perfect size for him to walk through.

Comments (8)Kees_Lover, Thank you for sharing your landscape prints framed showing me so many different ways a picture can be framed and look nice. I really do appreciate all the helpful people on this decorating site. I am now thinking that I like my print despite how much green it has so I have to decide on a frame. I will try to take pictures tomorrow. My sofa and recliner are called taupe but to me is a leather by Natuzzi that is more on the beige taupe side and is very neutral but does not like gold frames and since I have two glass lamps with chrome bases and chrome filaments on top of the very white shades on the glass tables next to the sofa and a triangle glass table in front with the green glass edging, BM Bone White Walls, White baseboard molding and Brazilian Cherry Floors, I am wondering if a Bronze frame will go or will it clash with the sofa or the chrome? Bronze is more of a brown right? I also like a brown espresso very ornate frame but I wonder if it would be too dark. My picture if of Japanese Maple trees with dark Pine Trees and some other lighter green trees and some trees with orange and yellow but the green dominates with red the second color. There is a bridge and a green pond probably from algae. My room needs some color so bad and I wish I had chosen a dark brown or Mahogany sofa and not taupe years ago since it took me a year to buy some furniture when I bought my first home. Do you think a 40"X 30"size print would be good that will get bigger with a mat and frame for an 81" long sofa? I never bought pictures before except for the small framed prints in 2007 from JCPenney. I went there and they have no more framed prints for sale in their store....See MoreSwitch Track! Comments (10)My local self-service dog wash place has the exact same grooming tubs as the one in dekoboe's picture, except that theirs have a long 3 piece pull out ramp for big dogs that tucks away into a slot below the door. I would assume it's a standard option. Unfortunately my 70lb guy won't use the ramp to get in, so I have to pick him up, but I do pull it out for getting out since he's not supposed to jump off things any more. He's 13 and it was getting too hard on him to bathe him in the bathtub so we've started going to the dogwash....See More2016 November picture time!! Please, lets' see them.
Comments (139)Thanks Laura and Mike! Mike, yes, we do love Christmas movies around here as well. Thank you, happy holidays to you and yours as well. You know, I was THISCLOSE to buying tiny little Christmas lights for some of the citrus trees. We went to a local hardware store because my daughter's band will be marching in a Christmas parade and the kids were encouraged to decorate their instruments. We bought my daughter a stand of battery operated, tiny Christmas lights to decorate her sax with. I wanted some for my little trees as well! I would have to hire someone to do it, but if I decorate our palm tree, I'll send you a pic! I still have an hour and a half before midnight strikes into December, so I wanted to share some pics of some Meyers (grocery store) here in your November pics before I forget. They come from a local vendor, and they are SO big that I even questioned if they were Meyers! I know that they can get big, but these were huge! To me, they didn't seem "smooth" enough to be Meyers, but the produce guy noticed me gawking over them and assured me they purchased them as Meyers....See More
8 years agoOur two sweet shelter mutts. Mia (left) is a 10-month-old terrier mix of some sort. We believe Otis (right) is an English pointer/pit mix. He's between 4 and 5 years old.
Mia was adopted from a small local rescue and Otis from our city shelter.

This is my Dilly, a Lhasa Maltese mix just days beofre he passed in 2014 at 9 years old.
And this is Emma Belle taken 9/14. She was all of 8 months and is spoiled to no end. She is the rescue that does not know she was rescued as she was only 7 weeks old when she came home from the shelter. Emma is a schmaltz, a Shitzu Maltese cross. I need to take some new photos as she is now 3 1/2.
8 years agoThis is Misty. She is 9 years old, I adopted her last October, this is her 3rd and last home. She doesn't like to look at the camera when I try to take her picture so I try take it from the side usually

Our Jack (almost 7 year old Malamute Husky mix we rehomed at 8 months, from a very good home that just couldn't keep him) and granddog, Utah (4 year old white Husky).

8 years agoI have had a lot of dogs over the years. I've loved them all, but Sundance was the love of my life. He's been gone for years, and I still miss him.

8 years agoSparky passed away this summer. I really miss having a dog :- ( My oldest daughter moved home a couple of months ago with her cat. There's tension between the cats and I don't want to bring a dog into that situation, but when she moves out in 2-3 months I'm going to the local shelter (which unfortunately is a kill shelter) and finding a medium or large dog. I know our cat loved Sparky so I just need to find a cat friendly dog!

Here is my dobie, Hendrix (but we call him Bubba). Biggest snuggle dog of all time. He is usually on my lap, my 80 pound lap dog! He is my first dog in my life and I am now a dog lover!

This girl is the love of my life. She's kind, and sweet, and full of antics - and is way nicer than nearly all of the people I know. ;) (Sorry, that other thread still has me annoyed!)

Mia got a new heated bed that sits on the dashboard of the motorhome where she can see the world through the big window. This was how I found her today.

I don't have a dog, or any pet, now. This was back in the late 70's or early 80's, he wanted to 'help' with anything I did, including typing.

- 8 years agoLittle one is the boss, 8 year old morkie named Butkus. The other is a foster lab/beagle/basset that no one wants to adopt! He was part of a group of dogs from a hoarder,under a year old.

8 years agoHeres my Kallie, a rescue from a kill shelter in North Carolina. She was about 3 months old when rescued. She’s turning 6 in January.
And here's my boy Spencer who we lost a year and a half ago. Still miss him every. Single. Day.
And this page wouldn’t be big enough to hold all those pups we’ve had in our lives during our almost 50 years of marriage. Each one has a special place in our hearts.
