Comments (79)No rot at all - perhaps it's just because none of the water actually comes in contact with the plants? It's very low maintenance and has made for some nice growth. Whenever any of them start to look a little dehydrated, I just put the top on for a few days to really kick up the humidity, and things just seem to do well. Looking forward to trying some other stuff the same way. Have one jade I'm trying to do as root-over-rock in the same way; appears to be working well so far....See MoreShow me your dog station
Comments (13)I never thought about using a boot tray. We have one in the entryway of course. I've been using decorative placemats, but with two big dogs, placemats don't cut it! lol. Ynnej, I don't have a current picture but our food station for both dogs and cats are in the utility room. Like I said, the dog's food and water are sitting on a vinyl placemat which goes with the decor of the room. Cat eats on top of the dryer. :) IMO, the simpler the better for easy clean-up. I like the picture above, but I can only imagine how much time is spent cleaning the area & keeping the cabs clean....See MoreSwitch Track! Share Favorite White Kitchen! See Pics & Show Yours
Comments (21)willow, Please share where you found your white Cabinets and your source for the white Subway Tile, Soapstone and Marble - We love it, also! boxerpups, You are so blessed to have so many great windows! There is no room in our kitchen for a regular table, most of our meals will be in the adjoining Dining Room. Love your white kitchen and those gorgeous floors, what are they and your counters? Great peninsula, you have it all! Also, what brand is your Range, maybe we can find one like yours in Electric. Wonderful moldings above the cabinets! Thank you for all of the Pictures! Well - as of TODAY we officially own our new, Old House, so exciting, almost cried! Will have the keys on Friday, and we will take the accurate measurements of the kitchen. There may be room for a small wood island or a little Bistro table, placed under that window, just have to see them in place! Rosie, Thank you so much for the terrific suggestions, about the dark colors, grounding the space. You all, are really helping us, please continue to offer all of your Ideas and Pictures! Just thought that you all, may have some opinion on our counters around the Range - we found, some very pretty: Imperiale Azul Quartzite/granite! Remember, we are intending to keep the Stainless Steel Counter-Top on the Sink side of Kitchen. So we are thinking about Granite or Soapstone for the Stove side - but we only need 2 small pieces and it is not sensible or feasible to purchase an entire slab, right? Does anyone know where we may find any smaller pieces of Stone, HELP? And do you all have the Sources for any of the lovely Marble Back Splash Tiles? Will it be OK to use a marble Back Splash with a granite counter? The metal square tiles above our SS Counter-Top/Sinks, will be removed, I hope it is easy - then the same Back Splash will be used on the Sink side of room. DH says that, the Selection of Electric Range may be dependent on the Counters and Back Splash! polkadots, You sound like us, we have a difficult time selecting just one Wood! shelayne and blondi, Wow I really know how you feel! Any luck finding your light? runningplace, you have the new cabinets, I am jealous - what brand are they, we still have not selected ours! dianalo, Thanks, your input is always welcome here - just curious, How would you use, these white Steel Cabinets in your design? Yes, rookie's Kitchen & House are Amazingly Beautiful! Did I ever mention that we must put up a fence in the backyard for our Miniature Poodles! Does anyone have a fence that their Dog will not escape, our little girls are still of the breeding age - our Lovey is the daughter of our Mia - just had to keep one puppy, right! Mia had six beautiful, healthy babies! People are still calling us to find another one of her Pups! We are considering her for a second litter, just love the little ones, so adorable and smart! Our Son owns the Chocolate brown, Mini Poodle, father! And Mia is a perfect Mother! Thank you all again for all the great Pictures & Ideas, hope we can find some smaller pieces of Stone, soon, any Ideas for any sources? roseofblue...See MoreWell, Let's Try Today and see What Happens
Comments (10)Thank you, Debra. I avoided the one that I think may have set them off even though it is the name and I had a pretty photo of it. Next time, I will leave out letter. Exotic Starfish is such a pretty bloom and I do not intend to allow any of the newer ones to re-bloom this time. I lost a couple of plants last year and I think that may be why. Your new seedlings are so pretty, bot the lreds and that huge dark one....Taht one sets me to "vibrating and I will be adding it when you put it officially name and release it. kay....See Moreteresa_or
