outdoor design dilemma! Please help!
Comments (3)If you figure out the bug issue, the side yard looks big enough for a sofa seating area and maybe round table for dining. You could put down some stones and maybe cement pavers. Teak is a good wood for outdoor furniture or you could try metal. If the budget it tighter, shipping palettes or the plasticized rattan outdoor sofas are easy to care for. And yes get winter tarps if concerned about Northern winters and cold. Good luck! Enjoy the outdoors! We eat almost every meal outdoors when the weather permits. Comments (2)If the pool is already going in, and you haven't painted the house yet, simply choose a different white color for your house exterior that complements the tones you already have. Why go in two different directions and make challenges you don't need? That said, I would NOT do that patterned tile as a paver. Keep it simple, and don't make pavers your statement piece. I would work on landscaping and choose something simple and plain for for the pavers. Or just do concrete which is acid-washed for a non-slip surface. Setting the urns on the flanking walls should give you enough access to the small garden....See MoreKitchen Design Dilemma - Backsplash and Countertop colors

The cabinets will be a Shaker style, In Artic White There will be under cabinet lighting. There are currently 8 recessed lights. This will be expanded to a total of 10. They will also all be upgraded to be brighter (sorry - I forget the term) I'm looking at various gray tiles along with white. I'm picking up a sample of the door on Thursday as I don't want to do a white tile unless I can match it somewhat to the cabinets. This is the countertop: I love it. Its honed. And this is the floor - it runs throughout the house:...See Morecpartist
