We've just moved in so this room is a work in progress - what I need help with immediately is the color of the curtain rod. I plan to get light colored curtains with a subtle weave - either close to the wall color or leaning toward mint/spa. Currently leaning toward something very light that sort of blends into the walls. Bedding rotates between a darker gray herring bone, crisp white, or the minty one on the bed now. Sorry about the photo quality - it was hard to shoot at the window.

I'm debating between black and silver rod and grommets or rings. Grommets or soft top with rings I think would suit the casual vibe and also be easier to pull back and forth. At first I was leaning toward silver because I thought it would be less visible and would be less likely to draw attention to the exposed ducts. But I do have a lot of black elements in the room so wondered if black would be better? Smith and Noble has done all the measuring - now I just need to decide! THANK YOU!
