Do we have any hair color experts on here?
Comments (24)I would stay away from trying to achieve this yourself. It matters what color your hair is as well as the texture, tenacity, and porosity. Toners are sometimes used (separate process) to correct the finished color. Brassy hair can be corrected by applying a blue, violet, etc. toner. Hair color has levels that range from dark to light and youâÂÂre removing levels of melanin (the pigments in your hair) as you go. All professional coloring systems have their own set of âÂÂrulesâ for formulating their color line to get the desired results you need. All come with swatches and thereâÂÂs a process of figuring out what needs to be done. Ordering professional products online (tubes of color and developer) without having the rest of the information is about as much of a guess as buying box color, IMO. Also, depending on if bleach is used, if the person is slow or doing a lot of foils, etc. (I know you didnâÂÂt mention foils) the product should actually be mixed in different batches (with different formulations) for sections so that the bleach processes evenly and is finished at the same time. On the plus side it wonâÂÂt take as long to achieve and should cost less than if you had really dark hair! Comments (10)Oprah did a show on the Texas State Fair. That is the first time I heard about deep fried butter. She interviewed the man that invented it. He said he would never get tired of buttered toast, hence the reason for the creation. I don't know if the MN State Fair has it - I have not seen or heard of it featured there in the past. We don't need deep fried butter because we Minnesotans are too busy trying to get into the dairy building to see the carver creating a new "butterhead". LOL...See Moredo we have any car insurance people here?
Comments (12)With it in both names, any tickets or accidents can count against you, but again, insurance laws vary from state to state. Does he have it covered on his policy? Are you insured by the same company/agent? I sense that things aren't all that great if you expect problems on a possible pre-nup. When in doubt, CYA. I'd say get it into one name, whether that's yours or his, doesn't matter. You could ask for it as a birthday or Christmas present if it makes you feel more comfortable. Insuring two people could be more than insuring one. I'd expect it to be higher and with it in his name he has every right to drive it. You could call a different agent with the same company and talk to them but the pragmatic side of me says you are taking some unnecessary risks and if you want to continue, you should at least insure yourself. With the hesitation and fear of going for the juggler, does he have a bad driving record or something? Again, states vary, but here you could have an issue with your insurance if they find out it's in both names and only one insured. Here, I for instance will be covered by my insurance on anyone's car I drive and anyone is covered on mine. But they're also very fussy about disclosure. I bought a new(er) vehicle and parked it. I decided to put comprehensive on it after a couple months and they got all bent out of shape because I didn't tell them immediately. They figure if you don't tell them, you're hiding something. This kind of ticked me off since I wasn't driving it (it was garage and not used), but apparently there's something in the policy that I have to tell them if I buy a vehicle, whether or not I insure it. They also figure if you have a vehicle, you drive it and if there's other drivers in the house you have to let them know, whether or not they're allowed to drive the vehicle. Sub-25ers especially. It sounds like you have multiple vehicles. Depending on your ages, driving records, insurance and such, you could have enough discounts that the difference, if any wouldn't be much. The other option if you really don't want to talk to your agent is to read your policy and see what it says in there about it. Good luck....See MoreWhat do we do here?
Comments (79)A seller asked me to move into his house for free for several months before closing. Why? He wanted to close after owning it for two years for tax benefit. It was good for me, he had the bigger exposure such as me not closing and not moving out.. It all worked out fine. As said, each party to the transaction makes personal decisions which is best for each person. I'm still in the don't move out early camp, to each his own. I've bought and sold many properties and never had a serious problem. I do always try to keep agreements to my benefit and and not lose everage. Why fault a Realtor if both parties understand the risk and agree to it?...See Moreusagigreenpaw
