My husband wants to avoid gray in our new build except for Colonade Gray in a hall that runs the length of our ranch home. Starting from one end of the house to the other, we have tentatively chosen Jay Blue walls in master bath with marble look tile flooring. Then master has feature wall in Naval with other walls Steely Gray or light French Gray. Then the great room might be Starboard which is next to the Gray hall then the foyer in Sand Beach(might need to choose another color for this. The breakfast nook next to the great room might be Functional Gray above a gray half stone wall. The dining room will be Dress Blues. The kitchen is undetermined. The powder room is 3 walls of Plum Brown with 1 wall of Repose Gray. The trim and doors are dark alder and floor is medium toned hickory. the kitchen, breakfast nook, mud room and laundry have Cotto Contempo tile in Wall Street. Cherry beams are in the great room. The laundry might be Silvermist if it goes with the tile. We have the same problem in the mudroom because of the tile. There is lots of dark wood in there. as you can see, we really need your assistance.
