Anyone else having problems posting pictures recently?
Comments (3)Nope, no problem at this end. I don't use GW Image File for posting pics - upload to my own servers. It's bad enough they plant spyware in your computer's temp files each time we visit, don't want them controlling my personal photos as well....See MoreIs Anyone Else Unable to Post Pictures?
Comments (13)FWIW, I've had to use Christopher's tip of clicking ono Houzz photo and dragging the pictures individually onto the box with the "browse" in it, then inserting from there. It's an extra step, and I have no clue why the regular photo button no longer works. I haven't had trouble with the words yet, but maybe that's why the regular photo link stopped working. Comments (26)When I made my recent return to Kohls, they had a very large box next to the return desk. I watched with dismay as the clerk just casually threw, without any care, items into the box. The item I was returning was a large wooden cutting board D23 had sent H for Christmas. He ended up getting a very similar one as a gift from someone at work, prior to Christmas, so I told D23 (she lives across the country and wouldn't be home for Christmas). She asked me to return it since he didn't need two and she got him something else. I still had it in the original box, but the clerk pulled it out and threw it in carelessly on top of everything else. I know much (all?) of these returns end up being sold off as bulk goods to resellers so it was disheartening to see how the items were handled. I imagine many things end up damaged as a result. The cutting board was heavy and could easily have damaged something already in the large container the way he tossed it in. Though I have already been mindful of what I purchase on Amazon, seeing the way goods are handled reinforced my desire to start thinking more carefully before making purchases knowing Amazon makes it so easy to return if I change my mind....See MoreIs anyone else’s community having a food drive via post office USA?
Comments (14)Petalique, it's nationwide. Some communities, like my own, seem to do it very quietly any more. Not a single notice on tv that I've seen. There used to be more importance placed on it. My mothers little larger town, same state, always provided a bag - right up until she moved into senior living and they may still be doing it. We haven't been given a bag to fill in several years. Quick dash to the store which was wildly crowded right before mothers day. And of course ran into people we knew and DH needed to visit. I'd put on a clean shirt, still had my yard work pants on. I bought boxed scalloped potato dinners, boxed Kraft mac and cheese, few Dinty Moore 38 oz beef stews canned, put in a few cans Costco tuna. I don't think we've done a food bank donation since Christmas so we were due. I'm not happy with the inflated grocery prices but we're not going without anything - meaning I really should help where I can. I usually buy a couple of cases of one thing or another at Costco and it completely slipped my mind the last time we shopped there. If I'd wanted flowers I'd have been in good shape at Safeway. One entire end of the store was stuffed with cut, loose, arranged flowers and plants for Mothers Day....See Moresalex
