My son watches Survivor, too, but half the time he's watching the next day, so we can't do the text thing. And my other Survivor friends are in other time zones, so I can't say much more than "Must watch!" and not give spoilers.

Some seasons are better than others, but we still like the character development of these people, every season.

Oh great! My phone was ringing off the hook. Calls I could not ignore. Caught bits and pieces of it. Will watch on Demand tomorrow. Not the end of the world!

I agree sushi. Well, we all made our picks. The back and forth was hilarious. Daughter missed the last few min. So of course we told her her pick was voted off. Lol. Future son in law said he had to do bio research and would let us know before next episode, um, nope! Haha.

It's hard to pick someone when you don't even get to hear from all of them. I did say I had a back up pick but somehow that didn't fly. Haha I won't tell our picks til everyone has had a chance to watch.

Dog gone I hate this dish TV remote here. I set it to record and it didn't work. So I missed it. I did see Blacklist however. Maybe I can see it online.

Couldn't believe the strip search, I think that was a first. I don't have a pick yet, but I was happy to see the previews next week show a new alliance forming.

Dalton is right on about the editing (towards the 4/5 page of the recap.) It was annoying last night, but I understand why it was done. I just don't like it when so misleading.

Some quick bits:

Turns out that Ali and Patrick know each other from college. Friendly but
not friends.

Katrina was seen as aggressive and pushy, and at the ponderosa before the
show she made some odd fashion choices that made her stand out in a bad
way.

The ponderosa is a 1 hour boat ride from the tribe beaches

Ryan picked Roark from the healers tribe to get the immunity idol, had
healers lost

Did I read correctly that this was filmed in March 2016? Imagine having to wait 18 months to become a millionaire for the winner. Maybe it was a typo and he meant March 2017? And yes, the editing left a lot to be desired. I just didn't understand Chrissy's motivation with the super-idol. I thought for sure she would save Katrina. But then who would be eliminated? I missed that part. Obviously one of the power 4, but how would that happen? Would they revote, with Chrissy and Katrina not included in the vote? And Alan!!! Dude is seriously paranoid. His eyes are so creepy, the way they bug out. I think the lack of food is already getting to him. I'm going to have to miss the next two weeks, since I'll be in Paris, boo, but someone's gotta do it, ha ha.

Oh heck I missed a lot. I hope I can watch it online.

Chrissy: Not using the idol to save her "friend"/Katrina, at first did not make sense, until you realize that she voted with the tribe and now may have alliances that will take her through the entire game. I would have a hard time playing this game IF I were THERE...in it.

Watched last night. Trying to get hubby hooked so he'll watch with me. He's not a fan. :(

I was so happy they were all new players too. I hate when they mix in one or two former players but I like if the show is all former players.

The NFL guy's eyes were creeping me out. I think he's a loose canon trying to pretend he's just playing. We'll see.

The NFL guy seems unhinged. I expected the older woman to give it to Katrina although later she can use bragging rights about this to form new alliances.(Unless she can't mention it?)
