Comments (4)They are very smart animals. My son had a pet one also. I almost croaked when I learned his Dad had paid $50 for it and that OKC swap market thingy that had in OKC. It lived in a cage, but when it was out it would pile on the dog right along with her puppies and she paid no attention to it. The boys would open the door when that went to feed the horses and she would follow them to the barn. We lived near Lake Thunderbird and had a huge metal barn. She would climb up to the center beam and sit there watching from her perch, 30 or so feet up. When they finished, they called her and she came down and followed her back to the house and her cage. Comments (14)I'm pretty sure those bejeweled pumpkins were in this months BH&G mag. They are tiny black jewels hot glued on. Jewels can be found at Michael's. Draw the design of your choice with a sharpie and get goin' with the glue gun! It might be a tad bit tedious, but hey! An alternative I thought of is to use nailhead upholstery tacks for a more rustic flare! Just push them in! Comments (41)I once was put into one of those huge headed dancing bear costumes and told to improvise a routine for a roller skating show we were doing. The role was set for a guy to do but he was too tall for the costume or something so at the last minute I was called to the sound booth and told to put it on. The thing was HUGE on 5'1" me. I could barely see out of it through the little screen. I got to hear the music just once. It was the "Me and My Teddy Bear" act and the rest of the "skaters" were Tiny Tots in their PJs just sort of milling around who could barely stand up. I just did all I could to blindly avoid them. During the first show I dd a little burlesque bit with a bald man I spotted ed in the audience. For the second show made sure DS who was just a little guy then was in the front row. I pulled him up out of the audience to "dance". he never knew it was mom. LOL I ended the routine with a flourish right on the last beat of music. Ever see a giant bear who v can't see do a somersault? Well I did end in a sitting position and flopped over like a stuffed toy bear. I'd kill myself trying that today. I managed to avoid crushing any toddlers too....See More- 8 years ago
