Desperate: Why are all the rugs too narrow (or too long)?
Comments (9)I'd also suggest overstock.com. I tried 3 rugs from them and the third was finally the charm for our masterbath. I loved the patterns of the first two rugs, but the rugs didn't fit the descriptions given (either color or pile), so they had to go back...which would normally have really stopped me from ordering again. But I called customer service, and they were super nice! They emailed me a prepaid shipping label to return the first 2. So I kept trying, and with my third try I found one I really like now. The size and look I wanted also limited my choices. Good luck with your search!...See MoreHelp with entryway rug
Comments (28)Marcolo, I just had to find her craft room post to see. It's not the same fabric. But it's pretty close! In retrospect, I was sorry I chose the bird fabric because when I went to find wallpaper for the powder room off the entry, I fell in love with a bird pattern. I had to pass it by, though, lest my house start to resemble an aviary....See MoreLong narrow entryway- need help!
Comments (2)Could we have a few more pictures? facing the other direction and into little hall, etc.. what does your light look like? Is it the picture or could this space use more light? I think the bench, while nice, is a bit large in scale for the space. Will people be sitting here and taking off shoes? If so remove the pillows and offer a place to put shoes nearby. An entry way without a table is just a passing through space to where you can set your things down. A table with a bench or stools might be more functional for you depending on the type of set up you have. It is always nice to have a last minute check mirror over the table and a place to put keys, bags, etc......See MoreLong living room with windows and multiple entryways - furniture help!
