Remodeling my mother's house which we bought from her. We had the oak cabinets painted Sherwin William Network Gray, &The new island is called Blue Lagoon (navy color), island's top is laminate butcher block & the rest of the counters are laminate gray & white marble look We plan to paint the whole upstairs (kitchen, living room & hall) the same color to make it flow. All the trim & doors in the hallway are oak with a dark stain called Bedford. The floors are red oak with a natural finish. I do not want to paint the trim. I do plan to paint the back door you see in the picture. The living room faces South & the big window in the kitchen faces West so it gets the afternoon sun. Also, none of the furniture in the pictures will be staying. I was thinking of going with a gray that comes off of the same color strip as the cabinets called Site White. It is 3 shades lighter than Network Gray. Any thoughts?

This wall to the right divides the kitchen & LV. It is open on both sides.
