If not Trex, what should I go with?
Comments (2)Moisture Sheild, TimberTech. Trex is defentley the worst but all the manmade decking/railing have limits. They are not perfect. I am not pitching the caped decking yet its just too new. J....See MoreWhat color grout should I go with?
Comments (0)My countertops just got installed, I picked the backsplash tile, and now I'm wondering which grout to go with. Should I do a grey grout for the pattern to pop more, I guess it will look like it does in the pic, or white grout so that it has less contrast? I laid the tile on top of the counter because it was hard to get the pattern of both from a different angle. The cabinets are white. This link to the tile has both grout colors in the pics https://tilebar.com/alerion-thassos-and-mother-of-pearl-tile.html...See Morewhat color kitchen cabinets should I go with?
Comments (27)I would still argue for continuing the current floor through the space. It's just too small to mix floors and have it look good, particularly given what you've invested in opening it up. I think the floor you're looking at putting in will detract, rather than add, to the value you're putting into the coop. That said, budget is of course a reality. Given that you're looking at adding a fairly small island that's a fairly standard length, what about adding a freestanding island instead of a cabinetry island, and using the savings for he floors?
