Comments (1)that looks like it froze. it's dark and limp from the punctured cell walls. if the new growth is still green and firm the plant may eventually recover, but if not, i don't think there's much that can save it....See MoreDoomed? Broken leaf.....
Comments (14)This is my first orchid ..I got this orchid while blooming... was in good condition and new flower steam was growing. But one day a leaf broke, I thought its ok and few days later another leaf :( Now the steams have gone brown, from roots too. could anyone tell me if my plant can still survive. few roots are still green, few are turning yellow / brown....See MoreHello again!!!
Comments (11)Hi! I recognize a lot of names actually, more than I expected. Howard and Alberta and Lisa and I could go on and on. I'm excited to be back! Actually, my favorites were my minis! I had lots of mounted miniatures, all different kinds. I have a wonderful frames collage at home that my ex-BF did (I'm female, forgot to mention that, I have to specify with my name!). He took photos of my minis in flower, photoshopped them to be black/white except the flowers were in full color, then put them all together and framed them. I'll take a picture and see if I can't post it! I don't really have a favorite: I love phals for their simplicity, ladyslippers for their exoticness, vandas, dendrobiums, almost everything! I'm not really a cymbidium fan-but not the flowers' fault, got one as a gift from my ex husband once when he screwed-up big time and so it's got a bad association for me. Other than that, I'm not picky!...See MoreBroken orchid stem
Comments (2)I agree with Jane. I have had flower spikes/stem break before and have had a new spike emerge a short time later. Good Luck!...See Morerikki_t
