Looking for marble look countertops in cambria or granite

I have double vanities in SW Gray Screen with chrome faucets and hardware with vessel sinks. The flooring is Anatolia classic Carrera porcelain tile. I originally planned to go with cambria in Seagrove until I saw a full slab of it and it's too much for our taste. Any suggestions for a softer but pretty marble look cambria or granite? Thanks so much for your help.

Cambria is just a brand of quartz. There are a zillion quartz manufacturers now. Even Lowe's and HD have a wall full of the stuff. You should be able to find several other patterns in the other brands that will work.

You mean the brand “Cambria”? There are so many other quartz brands…have you looked at them all?

Yes, I meant the brand Cambria but I would be open to other suggestions.

Check the link below for some pics of the Aberdeen on kitchen islands. May give you more ideas! Have to say it looks pretty good. : ) Don't rush into your decision, since you may find a countertop that works better than Windmere. Perhaps the closest is "Taj Mahal", which is actually a quartzite. The downside is that you generally have to buy a slab, and they can be pricey and hard to find. Hey 2LittleFishies, I too love marble, but don't much mind the wear patterns it develops. I've been in houses with 60 year old soap stone and find it quite charming. Heck, I've been in houses with 200 year old marble counters - and still find the wear quite charming. My own Victorian has soapstone around the heat registers. They're a little dinged up but quite beautiful in my opinion. I have a large, cutting board, bit of carrara marble that I use to roll out dough - maybe start with that and see where it takes you. Don't know how old your house is but one of the good things about an older home is that nothing is really perfect and if it is perfect it looks rather out of place. So...things look fine when they are a little worn. I remember going to England and staying in a house that was built in the 1400s - wear just means people have come before you and will come after you, it is a good reminder. So get what you like and what you want. If wear patterns and noticeable age on your counters isn't what you want get something else. Remember, even durable things break, pit and fall apart.

Go to a granite yard. They are now offering man made marble that looks very real.

A tile store used it on a counter top and even they were fooled.

Hi Nancylisey28, we're excited you are interested in Cambria. Seagrove is a beautiful design, with a lot of bold movement. If you are looking for something more subtle, we recommend Weybourne or Swanbridge. Both are white-based with stormy gray veining, that can accentuate the blue in your vanity.

Now, my husband insists that he doesn't like all the white and gray in the room so he wants Charston cambria which is black with bright blue sparkles in it. Any ideas on what SW paint color to put with all this.

Cambria Charston. It's in the Cambria Jewel Collection....very pretty. Well that is very different from what you were looking at!! As to paint, where is it that you are painting? It would be easier to advise you if you posted some pictures of these areas.
