Thanks for all of your input Mayflowers! The tile has a bit of a basket weave effect due to its handcrafted nature. The color is "Toast" and we used "Cornsilk" grout and caulk. Our Installer sealed the tile as it has a crackle glaze. We are VERY pleased with the entire Kitchen Renewal Project! Even our pup got an upgraded space with the help of Frontgate.

Pretty remodel. With the black accents and X design on island, it appears more rustic/ farmhouse to me. I cant fully tell, but it looks like the gray are glass tiles(?) if so, I would maybe think if using ceramic instead. Glass doesnt seem to go well in my opinion with the style you have so far. Glass fels more transitional// tradirional / modern style homes. But that is just my thought. I am not a pro. Maybe look at these ceramic grey. first is cloe bedrosian in gray. second is tilebar - seaport hibiscus gray . Its looking nice; I am sure it will turn out great

The rendering looks like you have yellow and black cabinets, your counters are cement and your floors are pink-beige tile! You really don't want backsplash suggestions with that rendering as a starting point! You can move in and start using your kitchen without a backsplash. For best results, you should wait until all the other elements are installed and then start bringing in tile samples and sample boards to look at in the finished kitchen.
