Reading all your messages has been like hearing the latest updates on my three sisters. That's a compliment and sincere thank you. Crohn's disease, Graves disease, fibromyalgia and arthritis (Rheumatoid/Osteo)have reared their ugly heads among my 3 sisters but left me inexplicably unscathed. The family is an autoimmune minefield...LOL. After the ONE night I went home to get some sleep I came back to my father's house to find 2 cars and no father. When your 82 year old father is MIA without explanation you naturally worry. Turns out he had a second serious bout of Atrial Fibrillation and went to the hospital without telling me. Ask me if I wasn't feeling guilty for leaving him and upset with him for not calling me. He didn't want to interfere with me taking my best friend to a colonoscopy appointment Monday AM. I didn't sleep again Monday or Tuesday nights but got a couple hours sleep earlier tonight when I landed back at my father's with Pop in tow from hospital/cardiology office. No Coumadin yet until results of 3 week montoring device show if he's having small episodes of A-Fib when he gets chest tightness on treadmill at gym. Coumadin and exercised induced symptoms are the worst for him. He's extrememly active physically (so he doesn't fall asleep!) although we're having memory issues. Well, I've whined again but it feels better to get it out. I went outside yesterday at first light to rake and do a little garden clean up. It was glorious and relaxing. If all stays well for next week or so I'll have cooked my 5th Thanksgiving dinner and actually gotten somewhat used to it. Part of family will be here and Dad can have his turkey dinner without dietary restrictions of blood thinner. He's all about his food but luckily for me not picky...LOL. All in all, I'm a pretty lucky chickadee tonight. :) Good wishes for all of your health challenges as well. I think I'm going to get some Lavender heat wraps to relax me when I'm exhausted but can't sleep.

It could prove to be very beneficial here are instructions, Click Here to download HJTInstall.exe Download the one on the left Version 2.0.3 (Beta) Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop. Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Click on Install. It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop. Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" and Paste the entire contents of the log into your next post. DO NOT use the AnalyzeThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted. DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what HJT lists will be harmless or even required by your Operating System.

MetroPCS, was what's a called a "mobile virtual network operator" which is a fancy way of saying it just rented space from the big, national carriers. It's kind of like the difference between renting and owning a home. When you rent and the roof leaks, it's the property owner's problem. Same thing with "virtual" phone companies - somebody else owns the cell tower and takes care of it. A few years back T-Mobile bought MetroPCS and now AT&T owns Cricket and Sprint owns Boost and Virgin Mobile all in a effort to capture more of the market. All of the virtual operators served the pre-paid market, which again is much like the difference between renting and owning. In the pre-paid market, you pay in advance just like when renting an apartment. It makes it easier for people with mediocre credit to get a cell phone. Personally I use AT&T's GoPhone service, because I wanted a Google Nexus phone and the ability to easily switch carriers if was displeased with service. As it turns out, I've been happy with AT&T and never needed to switch. I pay about $44 per month (after a $5 autopay discount and including taxes/fees) for 8 GB of data which is plenty for me. Technically data is unlimited but speeds drop to 2G after the 8 gigs. I can also tether to my computer if necessary. I've had friends tell me how they've spent a hour or two setting new phones or service. It took about 10 minutes at the AT&T store to get my phone up and running. No extra "activation" or "upgrade fees," just pick phone number, pop-in SIM, pay, thanks and have a nice day. T-Mobile (MetroPCS) has never been known for great coverage, especially outside of major urban areas and I bet if you looked at their coverage map, you would find your home is in an area of poor coverage. Coverage is different for every carrier and, say, an AT&T customer can have great coverage at one location, while Verizon may not. A couple of miles down the road, things could completely reverse. That's just one of the limitations of cellular technology.

Just checked and Chrome is up to date on my phone - wish that had been the issue. There was a time before one of the many Houzz updates when I could post from my phone with no issue. I don't remember exactly when that changed because I' don't regularly posted from my phone. If I manually type in gardenweb.com in Chrome on my phone it brings me to a combined page of posts from many forums with a note at the top GardenWeb has been updated for info in the new look and features please visit the FAQ. I tried typing a test response on one of those posts and was able do that without the words being erased - didn't try to post it since it was just a nonsense test. But when I follow my bookmarks which are all gardenweb.com addresses, they change to houzz addresses as the page loads! If there is a setting to undo that I'd love to know.
