Miele Combi Steam Oven, Convection Oven and Hard Water

Hi All,

I have decided on getting the Miele ovens and I'm wondering if anyone can comment on using these ovens with very hard water. I understand that the combi oven needs the minerals in the hard water. In reading the installation/operating guide for the convection oven, it says that "Hard water, water containing minerals and water from reverse osmosis filtering systems can damage the oven. Only use filtered, softened and demineralized water from the building's plumbing to supply the oven."

This relates to the moisture plus feature on the convection oven. I can solve this by not getting the latest oven with the moisture plus feature. Although, I really wanted the rotisserie and I believe that model oven is the one that offers it.

I'm hope that someone with both ovens and hard water might be able to lend some guidance.

Thanks!
