Comments (12)Yes, Jodi, a Westie without the Westie haircut. We keep him trimmed but will let him grow out a little now that it's getting cooler. Terrific picture from Bodie. Is it very developed or touristy there now, or just the buildings and that's it? I see, Jim. We don't have that type of jay here in California; we have the scrub jays which aren't as good looking and the Stellars in local mountains which are georgeous birds. Comments (20)I agree about percussion. My son enjoyed his drum set many years after HS, and I never minded listening to the practice as it really was "music to my ears." Band is a wonderful experience for these kids, I know you agree and I commend you for whatever your involvement is. My son's school traveled outside the country a couple times to be in competitions, once to the Calgary Stampede where it rained on them and their new uniforms. A small bucket that I use for deadheading in the garden has been in the garage for 3 days. This is what I found when I went to get it last evening. Of course the garage doors have been wide open much of the time, but it still amazes me what these little worms do. It is attached in chrysalis mode.

I want to try and post a photo that I have stored in my Amazon photo app to see how it works. When I try to send one from my phone it sends both the photo and a link to the photo.
It looks like it worked! A photo from the St Louis Zoo a couple of years ago.
