SO calls me bear,baby,or booty wooty(I'm endowed in that area). Through different jobs and friend groups I've been called pink,pinky, and hot buns. (You wear one t-shirt and your labeled for life) Nieces and nephews call me by my name,occasionally with "auntie" in front,not always. Some of them have cute nicknames that im sure will mortify then in their future teen years. I remember when I was little and on a softball team,one of the coaches called me Fred. So on the team I was fred. I call SO grandpa. He is 18 years older,but that's not why. I told him one morning when he was in a mood and was fussing and generally being a curmudgeon because the cable was acting up and he was missing the weather report,that he was acting like a grumpy old grandpa. And it stuck. No offense to the grandfather's out there.

When I was in high school I was always Higgy or Higgybee. All my siblings were called Higgy as well. I grew up being called Anna Banana by a lot of people. My brother and some close friends call me Annie which I really like. I think everyone who has my last name all over the world has been called Higgy. When I was a child my friend's Dad who lived across the street called me Anna Maria All Spaghetti. I also get Annabelle or Annabella quite a lot too. You can call me any of those names just don't call me Babe or Baby as some of my boyfriends found out haha. My name is Anne Louise, growing up the boy next door couldn't say Louise so he called me Anna Weese and still does to this day

I am also Anne, and have a couple of older ladies who call me Annie. I don't mind, although I hated it as a kid. When I was very little, my siblings started calling me Annie Bug, which morphed into just Bug, which morphed again into Bug Juice. I wonder if they remember that?

My niece was called Pooky as a child. She hated it, and as an adult can still be riled up by calling her that.

Little Watusi. My oldest brother was Big Watusi. It's a play on my maiden name. Mega. Won't say why. Rob, and Robbie (despise this one). My mom called her parents Pussycat and Poopsie. I used to call my son little fellar, but he's taller and heavier now. Nope! Guess I'll have to change to big fella. My uncle has a million nicknames for his family. His wife he calls Bear, short for Shuffling Bear. His daughter he calls Rabbit, short for Br'er Rabbit. I have no idea why he has all the names he has, but he loves animal names. Of course, I guess that's a compliment since he's head over heels about animals, especially the big cats.

My grandson is very slight. All of his school friends, and the teachers too, call him Twig. He loves it and so do we.

I have no nickname, never have had.

My dad called me Junior. (He wanted a boy and got me instead. LOL) My friends all call me Linners, since there are so many women named Linda.

Growing up my nickname was Speedy as I work fast. My grands call me Nanaban short for nana banana and my great grand calls me EEna. He's only one and made it up.

When my nieces and nephews were little, the story goes that they couldn't easily pronounce my and twin's names, Eva & Neva. So someone started calling us EE and Nene. Struck, and now if someone calls asking for EE, my DH knows it's one of them. My little 4 yr. old great-granddaughter calls me GGEE. I said she could call me anything...just call me.

One of my neighbors' grands call them Lolly and Pops. So cute.

Other than having special names for grandparents - as I used, my kids used and theirs in turn use too - there are no nicknames in my family.

I've been Cookie (my mother), Pork Chop (my step-father), and Tesoro (my grandmother) growing up, but just as terms of endearment. Not something my family called me as a matter of fact instead of my full name. One day I will be Nonna Rita- but that is a ways off yet.

I barely remember my paternal grandfather calling me Zuzu, then that was it for nicknames -- and for those grandparents, who wrote me off when my father remarried. (I was six.)

My DH was called "Champ" as a young boy, which he *hated*.

I had a nickname from the age of twelve, given to me by a friend, through around age 20 when I dropped it for personal reasons. During the 60's a lot of people were so well known by nicknames that often no one really knew their real names. I was recognized by my nickname where ever I went. The most interesting was on a trip to Hawaii when I was 17. The second day on the beach my name was overheard by someone and that was that. No longer incognito. LOL

DS is the only other person in the family with a nickname that is recognized by people he's never met also. He took it himself in the early days of networking as a young teen. Probably as a username and it stuck.

My family always called me Lulubelle. My granddaughter calls my son Uncle Buddy since she was a toddler and it has stuck.

My nickname when quite young was 'sue city sue'. Have no idea where that came from and had forgotten all about it until recently. I went to a festival in my hometown and an older relative and his wife noticed me and he said, "oh look, here is city!" First time I had heard that in many, many years!

DH calls me BabyDoll, Cupcake, Sweetie, Sweetness, Honey, Sugar, Dear, and many more cutesie names. In fact, when he says my name, it's usually because he's not exactly happy with me. He has told me that he loves it when I call him Baby, but I also use lots of other names. We have 3 grandchildren. Alessandra is "Princess", Elijah is "E" or Little Man (although he is now 6' 1" and wears a size 15 shoe), and Exaiden is "X Man".

Growing up, for some reason my best friend and I called each other pooh bear, or pooky bear. Have NO idea why. Lol. Later, I was called Ritz. My niece called me Ri Ri when she was younger, now it's just Auntie. My one cousin calls me Reed. Brother in law calls me Cheet. I knew him before his brother, my husband. He used to call me Rita Cheeta, it just evolved to Cheet as the years went on. Still calls me that over 30 years later. As you can see not many cute or good nicknames for Rita. Lol. Oh, hubby calls me, get this....Butter Nut Love Muffin. He's weird.
