The Block Island North Lighthouse. Its about a 20 minute walk across a largely unused beach to reach it. The description of the hike warned that sometimes nesting seabirds in the area will attack hikers. :D @ psychedelic mushroom... On the Oceanside pier, there is a small café that also sells bait to the fishermen. I thought it was funny that the two signs on the side of the shop make it appear as if the Health Inspector gave the bait an "A" safety rating.

I felt sure...with your appreciation for nature and beauty...that you had tried to help him/her, caflowerluver. My comment was more of a general nature...not meant to criticize you in any way. I just looked at him/her and wanted to rescue him/her. Those eyes talked to me. Too bad her supposed owner doesn't...or won't...take some responsibility for kitties health. If he/she was licking rain water to hydrate herself/himself...the cat is in need. So sad for such a beautiful animal. Thanks for adding more info calflowerluver. It's heartening to know you keep an eye on him/her.

casey_nfld's middle picture above almost looks like it could be upside-down. I flipped it over and adjusted the color of the "sky" slightly. those clouds are pretty dramatic looking
