Jerry Baker's recipes
Comments (81)I love Jerry Baker and all of his crazy tips and tonics! He gets that gardening is like life you have to try this and that and see what works best for you. If you need gardening and/or life to be an exact recipe for your happiness and success you need to go back to chemicals at the gardening store. In any event I'm looking to perk up my hibiscus out on the balcony. Does anyone have Jerry's recipe for houseplant tonic? Many thanks for sharing it if you do....See MoreBud Spence has passed away (Orchid Mentor)

Comments (24)Edward, JTD didn't do much the first year I had it but it caught up. SHG is first year bloom for me I think I got it last year. I just love the color and form on JTD. I don't have Joan D, I got Accidental Tourist to cross with Jerry but sometimes they don't set pods no matter how hard you try. Sometimes I'm stuck with just whats blooming and will set pods. LOL I will see about getting Joan D. Thanks. Dot...See MoreLewis Ginter Plant sale
Comments (2)I just got back from there ... I was worse than my husband wanted, but much better than I wanted to be ;) I came away with my 2 prize finds, a white berried Beauty Berry and a red Camellia sinensis (tea camellia) as well as a creeping sedum my 3 year old picked out, an anemone and a pot of purple love grass. I wanted the big pot of purple/pink muhly grass that I saw, but for another $20 I had to pass. Maybe next year. -Bonnie...See Morewanda_va
