I have all his books and, YES - is tells fabulous and funny stories. I read them over and over. He died much too young!

Thanks, Ravencajun. I've read the book but Harry hasn't so I added it to his Kindle, plus two others from that same sight. For some reason, he always likes books I pick out better than the ones he does. Go figure!

I have become very addicted to the Pixel of Ink daily email list of free books, I do not even know how many books I now have in my Amazon library! The email list gives you way more free listings than their website does. It is a true treasure for those that love to read. Every day I look forward to it popping up in my inbox LOL. Like a surprise present!

I have to confess that I find so few free books worth reading. I don't have that much time to read so I am very selective and it seems that most of the free books on Pixel and Amazon are light romance, Christian themed or fantasy.

Pixel of ink email letter does not have the religious based books they have a separate site and email list for those, but they do have quite a few of the fantasy/vampire related and romance ones thrown in there but I like mystery and adventure and I have a lot of those I have picked up through there.
Seems like since Twilight there are now tons of Vampire books.

maire cate, most of the older classics are free. It might be a good time to revisit some of those. I've almost always have one of those going and really love the experience.

I got mine too. I read a lot, but forgive me, I hadn't read any of his books before. So I was wondering if I selected a good one. So glad to read all of your comments, this will be the next book I read on my long list of free books from Amazon.

I don't know how good this one is I have not read it yet but some of his others I have read and they are very funny. He has a large fan base and it is unfortunate that he passed away much too soon.
I just was really surprised to see one by him for free that is pretty unusual to see a well known author in the freebies.

rhizo - Thank you - I have downloaded most of the classics. As a Comparative Literature major in college many of them are old friends and it's great that I can now tote them with me.

I'm glad that Ravencajun mentioned this book because I'm at the point where I seldom open my Pixel email any more.
