Paint non-matching dressers the same color, For a beach bedroom, with blue walls and a white headboard, I think you could do something more interesting than black.

Nothing wrong with white…in a gloss with great knobs..

If you're inclined to go dark, I would suggest navy vs. black to stay with the beach color vibe.

Love the Hale Navy! The piece I used it on is definitely darker than the photo above - much closer to the sample shown. I also LIGHTLY antiqued mine to give it a little more dimension.

lesterlan, I did a custom piece for a customer on a 70's dresser. she requested Hale Navy. I might have had this shade color matched because it came out a big lighter. But here it is w/gold hardware.

Urbane Bronze is another nice shade. I did this mid century piece in it
