I'd use a pale to medium gray on the lid with a touch of pink in the crease. Maybe a bit of ivory under the brow as a base before adding the main colors.

Soft pink across the entire lid; soft brown in the crease, forming a triangle to the lash line on the outer edge; pearl iridescent under the brow bone. If she has a sage green shadow, she can substitute the green for the brown in the crease.

There's been a change of clothing. Amiee put the dress on last night and I took a look as she came out of her room...this dress is just so wrong for her..pretty off, but on it makes her look..strict, proper, as if its 1960 and she's going to tea with grandma. It didn't hang right on her and made her look...frumpy. I ask her how do you feel in this dress....mom I feel old.

In the midst of this Kody called and told Amiee do not wear a cocktail dress because the invitation says dress very causal for outdoor fun.....

I suggested to Amiee to go thru her dresses look for something very casual, something fun and something young, something that makes you feel happy and ready to kick your shoes off and and dance in wet grass. A softer fabric, maybe more clingy without actually clinging, Just look for something that makes you feel free, and just a notch above outdoor fun clothing.....it took her awhile but she walked out in a black dress with a pink and cream floral design, and a few sprigs of vibrant blue and green leaves...I took one look and knew she understood what I was saying....the fabric is almost jersey like, it has a small V neckline, is form fitting from waist up and flows loosly from waist down, it moves freely as she walks...its not a cocktail dress by any stretch nor is it stiff or frumpy, its perfect for a young woman that wants to wear a dress but is to dress down for this wedding. She's decided to wear a blush pink eye shadow because it barely shows on her looking more natural, just a whisper of color...I will report back later and try to get a pic....thank you all for your help.

Uh.....pink eye shadow makes you look weepy...like you've been crying...unless it's done with lots of normal skin color around it. I say it's an evening look....not for day time. JMO

Casual wedding attire is certainly tricky. But, it is a wedding after all is said and done. Her dress sounds like it would fit in with those under dressed (the very young) and those a bit over dressed ( the older crowd).

Don't know how old Aimee is but my 18 yr old stepdaughter has similar coloring. She wears a pale pink eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss in a neutral shade. People are constantly commenting how nice she looks without makeup not realizing she is wearing it..

Its been a terriable day.I found tiny ants so small I could hardly see them in my pantry they even got in the peanut butter so except for a few cans everything was a total loss. I have been crying off and on all day. couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Tim has had problems with this ear for months...last spring I took him to the ER for strep throat and a clogged feeling in his ear. Doc told the RN to irrigate the ear as it had a wax ball...I seen this happen but wasn't fast enough to stop it...nurse used a large syringe with a long plastic thing on the end..she filled the syringe with sterile water and instead of placing it just at the opening of his ear..she pushed it down into his ear..Tim screamed...to make a long story short..the doc came in and said all was fine that Tims just sensitive..laying on a blue pad on the bed was the used syringe and blood was on the pad not a lot just smears...the doctor wrapped it all up and instead of throwing it in the trash in the room she removed it from the room...Tim was holding his ear and very much crying.we left and drove 45 minutes to Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital where we found there was a large hole thru the ear drum..exactly what I knew. Anyway Tim has had 4 infections in this ear since. No I didn't talk to an attorney but I should have. When it rains it pours. I didn't get a pic of Amiee so ill try when she gets back. They left here at 1 and Amiee has called me 6 times now. LOL She thinks she will come home soon and says her feet and legs are going to swell a lot tonight but she knew this would happen...sometimes its worth the pain....I know that might sound harsh and I don't mean it that way but if your chronic you realize some things are just worth it..I hope this makes sense. By the way she wore a more flesh toned pink shadow, but in my opinion went a smidge heavy on the liner Lol. She looked very cute. Kody told her she was beautiful and he would be watching the guys closely LOL.. Oh she said she's hungry that all the food was greasy and she won't eat anything she sees visible oil on. I am sorry I didn't get a pic I was so overwhelmed here that by the time I thought about it they were pulling out.

Amiee is home. Her legs and feet hurt as does her back but she has a huge smile on her face. Kody is here and has ask to stay in the guest room tonight so he's here to help with Amiee.....he's stayed before. I got Amiee alone and ask her if she wanted him to stay she says yes because they are going to play cards and video games but please mom sleep in my room tonight. LOL. As if Kody doesn't understand why I have to sleep in her room..haha. Kodys mom took pictures and will forward me some when she does I'll post one..Amiee was very happy to see Kodys sister who Amiee knows from school but now lives in Florida. I guess the girls are going to the Tea House on Monday for a grown up tea party. Lol. I'm going to make Amiee some food and she's requested a long tub soak in her signature scent Attar of Roses. Every day she takes this soak I suppose it relaxes her muscles. So ill be back later.

I am so glad Aimee had a good time. It makes perfect sense that she saves her energy for special occasions. And what fun to have a girls's tea party on Monday.
