That's a big property you have there. Major renovation project. In the end, it'll be worth it but looks like you have a few years of toil before you can rest. Keep at it! The elite KBG never ceases to amaze me. As long as it's getting it's water, it does exceptionally well.

Not Blu Ray, but just regular DVDs. Last year, I switched the component cables to a HDMI/DVI cable to get a better picture on my TV. That may have changed the picture quality on the DVDs.

You can have it either to either side, or front, or whatever angle you want it at. Ours is on the front due to the fact that the backsplash was just under a 1/4" too thick and/or the granite hole was just off enough for the handle not to go back the whole way. We were very disappointed :(. I considered putting the handle at 45 degrees, but DH thought it would look bad. I don't remember a lot of details. Sorry. I think it was a smaller kitchen. I don't remember if the cabinets had been painted white or replaced. There was a bar or peninsula between the kitchen and table area. No paneling on the walls. I think it was probably an older post. I have oak cabinets and have been researching what others have done with theirs. Most of the information I have found was 2 or more years old.
