Found another 'blue' earlier this evening--and taking this pic. at dusk really brought the blue out!! It looks really odd, with the 'Guardian Angel' leaves also in the pic. on the right! The clue, that the color was not tweaked to be more blue, is the edge of the leaf of 'Katie Q' at the upper right and a couple of the leaves of the daylillies! Dusk definitely had an effect on bringing out the 'blues', all over my garden!!! :o) Was really fun snapping pics. in that lighting!!

Guess it's hot everywhere. This thread is a marvelous diversion. Love the shape of the leaves in Silk Kimono, and Coll's Deep Blue Sea is enticing. Wonderful pics. Steve

Btw...can you post a picture of something resembling an ugly hosta...or do you know what that is? lol You (stand out as one of the ones) who has perfect hosta pictures - each and every time. Highest compliment I can give you...well deserved..you can be proud of your hosta, your gardens, and your gardening skills in general. I'm in awe.

And I must agree that the flower is not fragrant but I do like the blue color....it’s different! That's what I used to think as well. I had it for probably 6 or 7 years before I got flowers that were fragrant and they have a different fragrance from the 'Fragrant Bouquet' family. It's more like Freesias and it's more faint. So, if your 'Fragrant Blue' isn't fragrant it's most likely not fragrant yet because of maturity or lack there of. Pieter
