Wow thank you all for the suggestions! We do plan on changing the entry door as well. Wasn't sure about the color, but it looks like you guys are suggesting a wood color or stain finish. Looks really nice. I'm not sure what is under the siding. We have only stucco on a few other walls of the house (patio area), so I guess it's possible that stucco is underneath. I will check and reevaluate the situation. I just have seen that stucco can look really nice, and currently, our house is the worst looking on the block for sure. At $6/sqft, I was estimating ~$9k for the stucco. Might be too ambitious to be under budget taking into account the price to remove the current siding as well. The idea of keeping the vinyl siding didn't even occur to me because of its condition and look. You guys wouldn't recommend getting new vinyl at least? Didn't think about updating the porch light to a larger size, or adding the larger bushes. Great ideas! As for colors, yeah light gray can work too, but I've seen pics of dark gray+brick and it looked really nice. My artistic sense is quite lacking, so I'd have to evaluate what complements the kind of brick we have. Darker green is a good suggestion as well. Thanks all for the input.

The house has lovely bones. Definitely no shutters. I would suggest replacing the light fixtures. The security light over the garage is not adding any curb appeal and the light by the front door is blending in too much. You might consider a new front door if it's not adding much charm. I can't really see it from your picture so it's difficult to tell.

I would keep the stone as is and would not paint it. i would spend on new garage doors. Probably i would want one big one with a raw wood look, but I might stick with two. Hard to be specific based on just one photo. I might also spend on copper gutters i probably would remove all the shrubs but leave what appears to be a tree in front of the chimney, ( I think i might prefer vines up the chimney but I don’t like to take down trees.) After I took out the shrubs I would see where i was at. One thing I am pretty sure I would want to do is replace the interior blinds visible through the front windows. Either drapes or even bottom up top down blinds that I could leave in the center position. i think once I removed what looks like boxwoods on the right side of the house i would think about a large free form flower bed there, extending much further into the lawn, with low plantings, something not formal , using cedar chip mulch and stones here and there... No shutters on the windows. Dont know what color I would paint what isnt stone on the house. Id have to see the neighborhood

I don’t think ”just paint” makes sense for your house because of the door next to the garage. It would be totally worth the investment to put an overhang/awning that goes over both the garage door and that lower door, like a weather portico, to diminish the visual effect that isolated door is having on the facade of your house. And then paint that door and the garage door a dark, unintersting color. Next biggest impact would be to paint your concrete foundation the darket color that is part of the brick. Invest in a solid storm door, all glass. Depending on your choice for a door color, think about a contrasting color for the metal railing.
