When is this from and anything else you can tell me about it

Value is nice to know for some but not important to me. What I am looking for is the name of the style. From when this style is from. This piece will not be sold because I like it for my own personal use. I think that if I found out that it was valuable I would be afraid to use it for fear of damage. When I get the table refinished and put back together I will post a picture so you can see it in all its glory. You will even be able to see the legs as they are supposed to be...right side up LOL....See MoreAre you familiar with Heywood-Wakefield pieces?

Comments (15)Texasredhead: Thanks for the compliment on the quilt. It is a "round robin"--a quilt that travels from quilter to quilter, each one adding a border. This one went from me in Wisconsin to Celina, TX to Houston, TX to Pennsylvania, to southern CA to northeastern CA and then back to me for quilting. I absolutely love it! I've been a quilter for about 20 years, have had a business machine quilting for sewing machine collectors (I do all my sewing on treadle sewing machines) and now have a pattern design company with a friend. I LOVE quilting! I'll give you link to my webshots albums where your wife can see some of my other quilts, plus there are some pretty nifty antique sewing machines. Gotta get back to work--I'm making a "Jacob's Ladder" quilt for our nephew Jake, who's getting married on Jan. 3. Comments (1)It's a very nice table! But possibly not extremely valuable -- it would be wisest to have a local expert take a look at it. The wood of the top looks like it might be good mahogany. The hardware could be anything from mid-Victorian to 1940s or '50s. Does the storage box for the leaves look original to the table? I'm going to venture a guess that this is 1910s- 1930s, but that's just a guess. The yellow stickers is from a previous move handled by North American Van Lines -- the T-165 is the inventory number from the move....See Morenyboy
