When i first read this account the question that came to my mind was, what is the motivation for the parking space tag? Lets face it, there are 7 parking spaces and 5 vehicles which commonly park there. If my math is correct that would mean there are at least 3 open spaces when tenant #2 parks her vehicle before you arrive. Is is merely a co-incidence that she repeatedly selects the parking place that you have been using? I think not. It appears to me that tenant #2 is playing parking space tag with your for one of two reasons: 1. Obviously there is some type of bad blood between tenant #1 and tenant #2 and no doubt tenant #2 has observed you talking to tenant #1 at some point. Tenant #2 is dying to find out what is being said about her by tenant #1, but since there has been no previous contact between you and tenant #1 she is reluctant to initiate conversation for fear of what your opinion of her might be based upon what she supposes tenant #1 may have said. 2. Tenant #2 may genuinely find you attractive and would like to make your aquaintance but has not found a way to make the initial introduction without appearing to be too bold. In either case, tenant #2 has elected to play this silly parking space tag game to perhaps antagonize you into initiating a conversation.

Nahhh...mistreating these machines would be if you put some bricks in there and ran it through a cycle...dog hair or cotton fuzz not so much. Buy the way...did you run your "Installation Cycle"? (Page 12 of the Installation Instruction Manual). You may want to (if you can) shake out heavily covered items with animal hair outside first so you don't have so much hair left in the machine (this is where classic high water level top loaders excel). As you play with your washer and learn how each cycle works (some cycles may use more water), you can use those cycles to wash the doggie items or heavy fuzzy items. I wish ALL front load washers had a "Water Plus" option to help with really dirty or "fuzzy" items to help wash/rinse these types of things away. I've written to Electrolux and they don't see the need for the added feature for additional water use.

Since it's an apartment and you just moved in, I'm guessing that you don't have anywhere to move this stuff to get it out of the way. How about a sketch of the room with the location of windows and doors shown on it. Then let us know the size of the furniture that you want to keep in the room. Do you want both sofas in the room, and able to watch TV from both of them? Is the room open to the dining room where the white table is? We need to know where to leave a traffic path, and where the doors lead to. If the TV location can't be changed, I don't think you have much choice other than the way you have the 2 sofas now. (Or is it a sofa, chair and love seat? Hard to tell in the picture.) Anything else in the room needs to be on the other side away from the TV. Just not sure what all that is.

I agree with everdebz that you need more lighting! it looks like you only have the ceiling light, which is probably not enough. personally I don't like central ceiling lights at all, I rarely turn them on and opt for eye-level and lower, scattered around the room. for my dining room, I have a low hanging paper pendant lamp w/a 100 watt equivalent LED (on a dimmer) and a paper corner lamp next to it. it lights the area really well w/o being too harsh. both are plug in style, and operated w/ HUE so I don't have to deal with a bunch of switches (everything in the living room is operated by one wall switch, and/or an app. HUE acts as the dimmer as well). google "George Nelson pendant" for some really cool styles similar to this, in a range of prices: "tube floor lamp" from EQ3 Ikea simrishamn: since you don't have a lot of table space, you could mount other lamps from the ceiling or walls. google "LED plug in sconces". you will get so many cool options.
