Comments (4)Graptoveriphytum, some sort of mix (pick two) of Echeveria, Pachyphytum and Graptopetalum. To be perfectly accurate, you could throw Sedum into the mix, too. I think you'll have your answer to the exact name soon, however - it's a pretty plant....See Moresucculent leaf cuttings drying up or turning black/purple
Comments (29)ill have to look for some rooting hormone cause unless its an accident of a leaf falling out and landing in the same pot with its mother (which to my surprise when picking up the leave) started to sprout a baby! - but when trying from fresh leaves in there own soil after a few days (i've even tried just putting them into the dirt without waiting) i've had absolutely no luck just a bunch of shriveled leaves :( ... some of my plants I have saved from being mistreated at small stores where they are never watered and all ripped apart and stretching for sun I've specifically bought and brought home so when they are nursed back to health I can try prop-ing with but have had no luck and now some of my plants are looking a little skanky with not many leaves on them, and I'm super worried to start pulling more until they kinda recover... but its not too attractive to have leaveless plants with long stems left sitting on the windowsill lol! but what can I say - I seem to have more luck by accident then by actually trying!...See MoreWhy do pepper plant stems frequently turn purple?
Comments (13)So, my bell pepper plants did this and then some! I need to find someone who knows something about this to give me some advice! So my plants were definitely put under some stress, I kept them in gallon pots for a few month while we were waiting on the closing of our new home. They didn't like it at all, the pots got hot, if I put them in the sun for more than a few minutes they'd wilt, even when moist. They probably got knocked over and scuffed in the move as well. Now that they're in the ground, they're making peppers and they all have the purple stems and crooks but check out what this one plant is producing!!! The other peppers are normal green! Taken September 1st!! Taken today, September 5th! What is UP with that?!? I really want to know if I can eat it! Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this?!...See Moresucculents turning purple fast!!
Comments (5)If the plant you got them from rotted or is dying, the leaves usually die too(at least in my experience) Is that the soil you use for all your succulents? Looks like it has no drainage. Also, please don't refer to them as succulents. They are only leaves, and if you call them succulents in the title that could mislead someone. A succulent is a full plant, but a leaf is just a part of a succulent....See MoreUser
