Bacterial disease or environmental damage?

While inspecting my plants this morning, I noticed this leaf damage to one of my Black from Tula plants. The damage leaves appeared randomly, not focused in any one spot. Even when all the leaves died on a stem, the stem itself was still green.

The plant appears healthy otherwise, with no black or brown spots on the stems and no spotting or malformation of the green tomatoes. Our lawn had a fertilizer/herbicide application four days ago (not my choice – my spouse insists on it.) The plants have also been regularly sprayed with copper. My guess would be herbicide drift, but I'm wondering what more experienced growers would classify this as.
