Help id disease on gaura and eryngium

Siana

I have several pink gaura lindheimeri that have all been affected this year by a disease, which has stunted their growth, caused the leaves to brown at the tips, and prevented them from blooming. I also have white gaura lindheimeri near the same area, which is triple the size, lush green, and blooming. They are all in full sun, well draining soil, but perhaps a bit crowded with other healthy perennials.

In another spot I have blue eryngiums, which also got affected by a disease that causes the leaves to warp, yellow at the edges, and even though they began forming blooms, the stems just below the blooms rotted and collapsed.

Can anyone help me id these problems? I do have some Japanese beetles, but not on these plants, and they have no holes in the leaves. I can't see any other noticeable pests, so I am assuming it's either a virus or a fungus? Thank you for any advice in advance!
