Monstera Variegata questions

Hi all!

I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on a Monstera Variegata after months of looking for even just a small plant or a cutting, seeing as it's really hard to come by, at least here in Sweden. So when I found this huge one I was so happy! However it was pretty beaten up and not very well taken care of with aerial roots almost taking over the whole plant itself. After a little trim it's looking a lot better from an aesthetic kind of view. My question to you however is if you have any thoughts of what I can do to keep it happy and thriving? My biggest concern is the size of the pot contra the size of the plant (it's roughly 1.80m tall) and the pot itself looks tiny in comparison! I asked the woman from the shop and she told me it didn't have to be repotted and I was a little sceptical to this. I've also noticed some of the bottom leaves are yellowing and not looking so happy. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Daniella
