Kitchen remodel in progress Paint Issues

I'm nearing the end of a partial remodel. We kept the same footprint but all new appliances, cabinets. I selected HDF (hard density fiberboard?) and painted cream color with brown glaze (light application). I'm happy with the glaze but see "seams" or "cracks" where cabinet frames meet or join, photo added. My cabinet maker explains this is normal. I'm thinking that someone failed to use filler? Any thoughts.

Oh, cabinets were primed (not sure of brand, very stinky) and the paint was Sierra Performance Beyond Acrylic Enamel satin finish. If this has any impact, the day the cabinets were primed/painted was 109 degrees, very dry weather. (Sorry photos are so giant.)
