Thanks so much for all the great advice. I guess I'm looking for affirmation that the Antique Trim isn't too dark to use as a trim color just as much as I'd like to be sure that the Antique Trim will work with the Creamy ceilings. I just can't ask my dh to paint the ceilings again! They were BM Linen White before, but I thought it was a bit yellow. Since we had some roller marks and I wanted to change the wall color anyway, we repainted the ceilings Creamy. Susie - I definitely am with you as far as the sample boards. I had dh cut a large piece of drywall into 4 large sample boards to test out the wall colors - I've been placing them throughout the house all week! Now I need to do the same for the trim, I suppose. Dogridge - thanks for posting your experience with the Antique White as a trim color. My house is a larger open floor plan, but it's a one story that doesn't get a lot of natural light in many of the rooms, so I should probably buy some sample trim to test out the darker trim color throughout the house. My sister has a very off-white trim in her house, and it's gorgeous, but it's also a new house with extremely high ceilings - not a 1963 ranch!

A vote to paint the cabinet to match the white built-in ones -- and then add tall white buffet lamps with fun shades (or simply add ribbon to the bottom of white shades!) And then add accessories to bring out the colors in the fabric OR you could add white accessories like a large milk-glass bowl filled with green apples etc.

Karen, I think you're right, it might not be a China Doll, I had that feeling too but decided it was because it was so wilted that it didn't look right, but now that I look closer I can see that the flower buds are all wrong and the leaves are too round. Not sure what it is but gardenia sounds like a good possibility. explaurie, maybe you can take another look at the tag....

All the reds and pinks look pink to me, but some of them look pinker than others. In 2016, I had a *very* pink-looking 2nd year (possibly crossed) Ledmon that was the best-tasting watermelon I had ever tried. Another plant in the same spot produced a much redder fruit (which didn't taste the same). I had a yellow watermelon one time that smelled like a pumpkin. Do you think that was Salmon Yellow? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Canary Yellow (it didn't look nearly as vibrant as Yellow Doll F1), but it looked much more yellow than the picture there. It had loose flesh, and was sweet, but not what I had hoped for. I don't remember the variety. It had flavor, but it wasn't my preference. Is there a salmon red/pink, by chance? A red/pink fleshed watermelon I grew tasted a lot like that pumpkin-smelling one, except a whole lot better, IMO (I loved it), with firm, crisp flesh. I wonder if that might be a salmon red or salmon pink. I wonder if crossing Salmon Yellows with Citron watermelons could make them taste better, by imparting a crisper flesh. The yellows and oranges I've tried in recent years haven't had particularly loose flesh, however, but they didn't taste like that pumpkin-smelling one, either. They just didn't have a lot of flavor or sweetness.
