Comments (6)Minis and semis have the mini trailing Saintpaulia species in their background - so it is really easy for them to remember a suckering mode. Generally - stress and genetics. If you stress the plant by some slack in culture - it goes into vegetative propagation mode - means suckers like no tomorrow. Some plants are more prone to it - and sometimes they are so bad - try to acquire a different clone of the same variety from a different source. I had a really good Magnolia - from Harmony Greenhouses - and I lost it. Got a same variety from somebody's else- and it is a sucker factory....See MoreWhat to do, What to do ? Comments (10)petlover, it will match the red. Shale is prob just a smudge darker than the RP the best way is to grab a sample and bring in home. you can see RP, collingwood and Shale together try the Shale. Graystone is also darker, so maybe try that as well. you'll have to see what it looks like on your wall w/your lighting. Shale is the same tone as Revere, so ask the paint guy if he could darken it by 25% without it affecting the overall 'tones'. But I think it will be darker on your wall than the revere....See MoreArea Rug - What to do what to do?!?!
Comments (13)I am not a designer, but I have been looking at rugs for my new sectional that was just ordered that is close to your color and style of sectional so I will post what I have found that I like. I am not very adventurous by the way! These are from Joss and Main and Build.com. I am having trouble uploading the pictures from my Chromebook, so I will post the links. https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/shores-hand-tufted-silver-area-rug-wlao1497.html?piid=22857749&ds=140702 https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/tadashi-hand-woven-wool-navy-bluelight-gray-area-rug-wlao1524.html?piid=24655384&ds=140702 https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/beatrix-light-gray-area-rug-mrcr6711.html?piid=19346859 https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/elson-grey-area-rug-mtna3393.html?piid=22734773 https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/downtown-nolita-yellowgray-area-rug-jilz1039.html?piid=27419792 https://www.jossandmain.com/rugs/pdp/downtown-greenwich-village-bluegray-area-rug-jilz1038.html?piid=27419786 https://www.build.com/surya-pei1007-71110/s1360287?uid=3205444 https://www.build.com/surya-mrh2310-710103/s1359240?uid=3204397...See MoreWhat to do ..what to do!
Comments (33)Those are much better pictures! This is not about specifics, but a general way of organizing the layout, especially bed lines. I'd begin with redoing/widening the walks. The front walk should be the width of the steps if you want to upgrade the whole house appearance. Using an upgraded material like brick or pavers would help, too. The side walk needs to be slightly forward, have a wider sweep and be at least 3' wide. (I would ditch the shrubs flanking the landscape steps. No need for them if you have groundcover on the slope.)...See Moreshirlpp
